I've been in Raleigh for almost 9 years and can't believe we don't have monies to enclose the open market, at least in the winter months. The summer could use some covering and a/c as well, moreso for the food. I've brought watermelons that looked good but spoiled in the summer heat. Off to Harris Teeter or Whole Foods, nutrient level higher in refrigerated structures and can get organic local foods too.
Cons: heat causes spoilage of food, smokers
