Only thing to eat is whole wheat pizza and a salad. - Edit
The server told me the only thing I could eat is the whole wheat pizza and he told me it was gross. Ate a salad that I could have made better at home. Go somewhere else like Razzi!

Vegan deep-dish pizza in Ballard - Edit
I just had the vegan deep-dish pizza at Patxi's Pizza and really enjoyed it. The deep-dish vegan pizza takes longer to make, but it's worth the wait. The crust and sauce are wonderful, and the layer of Daiya vegan cheese inside is just the right amount. The restaurant itself was clean, handicap friendly, has a pleasant atmosphere, and lots of seating.

Vegan deep dish - Holy red onion - Edit
The crust was good and the sauce was good. I have a few criticisms: There was an insane amount of LARGE chunks of red onion. Practically every bite was like biting into a red onion. Also, i love Daiya cheese, but I think a firmer vegan cheese would have worked better in this context. Maybe violife? Obviously I am not an expert, just my opinion. Also, with spinach being listed as an ingredient, I expected spinach to actually be more prevalent... maybe balance the amount of red onion with spinach?
Read moreI would not go out of my way to get this again. There are many more preferable vegan pizza options in Seattle.
Pros: Good sauce, Good crust
Cons: Not enough spinach, Way too much giant chunks of onions

One of my favorites - Edit
Cook time does take quite a while as some reviews mention but this is one of my favorite places to go in Seattle. Crust is whole wheat but personally I love the flavor profile.

Vegan Deep Dish! - Edit
When I heard they had vegan deep dish pizza I had to run right over. No one else in the city offers that! But I have to say I was disappointed. The crust was pretty burnt and was very dry. I don't know if that's typical for them, maybe they just happened to forget about mine and left it in too long (and knew I wouldn't wait another 45 minutes for a new one!). Their deep dish pizzas also have whole wheat crusts so that may have been a factor. Staff was great though and they do give you fair warning about how long it takes to cook.

Vegan Deep Dish Pizza Made to Order - Edit
Unheard of - Vegan Deep Dish Pizza! It is excellent and would get 5 stars if Happy Cow allowed. They use enough Daiya to make it taste like the real thing without overdoing it. Order take out ahead so you don’t have to wait 45 mins to an hour for each of their Custom pies to bake.

Cons: Each Pie is made to order - it takes 45 minutes.

Deep Dish - Edit
They have Daiya! There is a vegan deep dish pizza on the menu. It takes some time to cook, but it is delicious! And sometimes I had to remind the server that, no, I do not want parmesan on my vegan pizza. The padron pepper appetizer is pretty tasty too. The restaurant is very pretty inside, it would be great for a date.
