Huge variety of vegan food

I'm not used to having so many vegan choices on the menu! Some is vegetarian (with dairy) but can be made vegan upon request. It's also certified kosher. I especially enjoyed the saag aloo. The spices were perfect.

Pros: All vegan/vegetarian, Indian grocery store adjacent

Pretty good

We got the aloo gobi, vindaloo and aloo matar (we ordered it vegan on request). The menu is a little confusing in that some items are vegan and some are available vegan. The items with an asterisk aren’t vegan but can be made vegan upon request. Then in a separate place it lists the items that are vegan by default. Overall the food was good, but don’t think I could point to any dish really standing out as a favorite. I think it’d be worth trying more of their menu if we’re in the area.

Mild had a good amount of spice

Delicious vegan options. Staff was completely knowledgeable on what was vegan friendly. I ordered the pakoras, vegetable samosas, and eggplant bharta with roti. That’s typically my go-to choices when I eat Indian food. Everything tasted great with the exception of the pakoras which I have never seen pakoras look like that before. They weren’t nasty but wasn’t as good as their typical form. Everything had a good amount of spice.

Authentic Punjabi

Loved this little place with grocery store. All vegan items are clearly marked. Tried the vegetable korma and Punjabi pakoras and both were yummy. Their naan is one of the best I have had. Worth coming after a visit to IKEA. Lots of prepared fresh meals in the fridge for all your week food prep. Nice people too.

Yummy Indian - Highly Recommend

Really, really yummy vegan and vegetarian Indian food. I had the Eggplant Bhakta, medium spicy. It was delicious and perfectly seasoned. My partner had a biryani that was also super yummy. The restaurant is really clean and the people very nice. There’s also a nice grocery attached and they have frozen prepared food that they make. I would definitely go there again and highly recommend it if you are looking for delicious Indian food in Renton.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Seattle (even if it is in Renton!).

One of my all time favorite restaurants. Food is excellent and the adjoining market has great items to bring home. My favorite is the chili pakoras, but it’s essentially impossible to get something here that isn’t good.

Pros: Yummy, Inexpensive

We came here again and again

Splendid vegetarian Punjabi Indian restaurant. On our vacation, we stopped for the lunch buffet when we drove from Seattle to Mt. Rainier, and again on our way from Mt. Rainier to the North Cascades, and once more when we returned to Seattle from the Olympic Mountains. It is that good! The buffet was a feast because it had (on each of the 3 occasions we were there) two dishes made with paneer, the rennet-less Indian cheese. Also, two kinds of daal (lentil or chickpea stew), wonderful mixed vegetables (something different each time), and 3 types of bread or baked goods. Pleasant atmosphere with comfortable booths. At their store within the restaurant you can also buy their food for take-out, ready-to-eat or frozen.

Pros: great food, pleasant atmosphere and staff, good value

Kosher certified Punjabi Cuisine

It was a relief to eat in a kosher certified vegetarian restaurant (with vegan options) after our long sojourn north from Los Angeles.

A vegetarian Punjabi menu was a pleasant surprise, given that most Veggie Indian places have south Indian cuisine.

The food was good, healthy portions and the establishment was clean and well kept.

The food was tasty prepared well. The naan was standard.

Pros: kosher certified by the Seattle vaad, Punjabi fare is special

Pretty tasty; great management

I enjoyed this place on my stay here in Seattle area. I lived here years ago and here for 6 weeks so will try it again before I leave. Most of the menu is vegetarian and not all the way vegan, but many items are all vegan and a selection can be made all vegan. Tasty Saag Aloo. The manager was especially helpful with something I needed help with. Good place.

mixed bag; fed us dairy

UPDATED**** We have returned and had a mix of experiences. Upon returning, they fed me dairy and the guy wryly smiled at me; not sure what that meant. Almost like he was messing w me. The woman (owner?/manager?) came over to "apologize", half-heartedly.

WE WON'T BE BACK

Pros:

Cons: fed vegans dairy, service

You have to roll me out of here!

I love. love, love their lunch buffet so much!! I have to limit myself from going to often so I don't explode because I absolutely love every item and have to restrain myself from too much. I feel like I've had a Thanksgiving feast everytime I go! I especially love their yogurt mustard salad dressing.

Pros: Yogurt Muestard Salad Dressing, Lunch Buffet, Excellent Value

Cons: I eat too much

So much flavor!

This has been our favorite Indian takeaway spot for years. I can't comment on the dine-in experience, but the "to go" process is always prompt, courteous, and oh so yummy.
We learned about Pabla during a taxi ride home from the airport. The driver was from Calcutta, and we were discussing the fabulous Indian food we ate abroad. He recommended Pabla in Renton - the only Indian restaurant he enjoys here. We tried it the next day. Delicious!
Kabli channa is our favorite dish. We also love their vegetable samosas, garlic nan, mixed vegetables biryani... I could go on and on!

Lunch buffet is out of this world!

Pabla is delicious for dinner too, but the lunch buffet is an outstanding value. There are always 4 or so entrees, rice pilaf, salad, samosas, pakoras, raita, chutneys, salad, desserts... The works. The food is fresh and incredibly delicious.

And the adjoining store is definitely worth exploring.

Do not miss out!

The only drawback to the buffet is that many items contain dairy. You can ask them which ones are vegan, and you can order vegan off the menu, but you may have fewer buffet items to choose from.

Pros: delicious, buffet is a great value, great store

Cons: fewer vegan buffet items
