Delicious freshly made food

I've been there once and tried 3 great vegan dishes. The mushrooms wrapped in vegan bacon were awesome.

More about it at:

Pros: air con, freshly made, free water
Cons: small meals

Friendly & creative

Orange Café serves some innovative variations on the usual Thai staples. I had a "won ton pad Thai" special that substituted crunchy fried won-tons for the usual rice noodles, to interesting effect.

Portions are a bit on the small side for the price, but the quality is good.

Fresh juices are also a plus.

Pros: creative

Hidden, but worth looking for

4 Posted on 09 / 08 / 2013

Hidden away in some backstreets in Silom you can find this pleasant eatery. The menu is not very big, but that is not a bad thing. The food is delicious, although the portions are on the rather small size. You shouldn't go there when you are really hungry, because it takes a long time to prepare your food. But it is worth the wait. Very delicious, although a bit pricey, could be related to the area. I will be back.

Pros: Delicious, Staff speaks English
Cons: Price, Waiting time

Fresh, friendly and tasty but tiny

3 Posted on 04 / 03 / 2013

This small eatery is a short walk from the Dusit Thani hotel, but is not that easy to find as several road signs are obscured or non-existent.
The food is all made "fresh", with some microwave help, and has great flavours and a good helping of chilli, often lacking.
Sadly the portions are tiny. If you're a man-sized vegan looking for a man-sized meal, you might need to double or triple up on your orders to get enough food.
Worth a try as the prices reflect the portion sizes.

Pros: fresh, great flavours, good English
Cons: slow, small meals, hard to find

Discover delicate tastes

Orange Cafe is a bit hidden, just of Sala Daeng. Definitely worth looking for. Although not cheap, the food is fantastic.

Pros: Delicious, Unconventional
