Fantastic Smoothies

I always need to stop here when I'm in the area! Their ingredients are so fresh and they have great flavour combinations. They are constantly giving out samples and are very friendly. Plus they do NOT skimp on the nut butter so if you're like me, that's a good thing 😁 Fav smoothie is The Gift.

Pros: Fresh ingredients, Great flavour combinations, Very friendly steak

Best smoothie and value!

$7 for a 20oz smoothie is a great value and even more so because it is one of the best smoothies I've had. The times Square smoothie is delicious. I didn't understand all the ingredients together but it's actually so good!

Smoothies with a smile

Abdi is a culinary mastermind and all around kind person behind the business. I truly enjoy supporting them and don’t get in as often as I would like. My favorite dishes are the quinoa bowl, and The Time Square smoothie. Yum!!

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Friendly service and affordable , Great casual vibe

Simple but excellent

This is a mostly vegetarian place (they serve one chicken and one tuna dish), with many vegan options. They have smoothies, juices, sandwiches, and sambusas, and grain bowls. The food is inexpensive, healthy, and delicious, and the portions are huge. The fare is relatively simple--that, just straightforward goodness.
The restaurant is small, with no restroom, but a few seats and tables. You order at the counter, and food comes shortly thereafter. Despite is simplicity, this place is indeed a real winner.

Pros: Inexpensive, big portions, Relaxed, fast service, Healthy, good tasting food, many vegan options

Cons: Not all vegetarian (serves fish and meat), Not for fancy dining

Such a special place

I'm a huge fan of trendy, $11, Norwalk cold-pressed juices and the places that serve them. However, this is not one of those places. It's better. It is owned by the kindest Ethiopian man whose name I don't even know, although after going to Oasis consistently for almost a year, I feel that I know his spirit very well and he mine. He's so passionate about serving healthy, whole food, especially in an area where this is uncommon and to those who may be unfamiliar with it. The walls are decorated with ever-changing posters with inspirational quotes and facts about the healing powers of superfoods, and funky Ethiopian music is always playing. Try the Ethiopian lunch special! $8 for a huge platter of nourishing, vegetarian food! And feel free to make your own juice or smoothie creation -- the prices never change whether you keep it simple or decide to add chia or maca or whatever! Along with juices and smoothies, there are also hot drinks (ginger tea!), breakfast items, soups, a salad bar, and nut mixes for sale! Come here! Nourish yourself! Support a local business and a wonderful spirit!

Pros: Local business! Wonderful owner!, Least expensive juice in the city!, Delicious Ethiopian lunch special!
