It's a small, cozy place, only serving one menu a day at lunchtime.
I guess to open a vegan organic cafe in a small city somewhere in Bavaria you need some frontier spirit, but 2he owners definitely know what they are doing. Most of the veggies they get straight from organic farms in the region.
I didn't try the lunch menu yet, when I was visiting they had medaillons with mashed potatoes which looked decent.
Apparently the food is so nice that many non-vegans and non-vegetarians come to try it out or regularly eat here.
You can also try out "Lupino", a coffee made from roasted lupins. I liked the taste and so far I didn't find this coffee anywhere else.
It's not only a lunch restaurant and a cafe, but also serves as a shop where you can buy a small assortment of vegan products. The "Lebenswurst" spreads are worth trying, they're only sold in the region.Pros: Regional ingredients, Organic & Vegan
