A laid-back coffee shop that's lined with books. Serves various bar-type food including knish, soup, and snacks plus drinks like juice, coffee, soda, and beer. Live music sometimes. Stays open late. Removed Oct 2019 - limited vegan options.

Restaurant spaciousness for coffee drinking - Edit
This place looks so far from a coffee house/ shop, but it is what it is! It seemed very Burlington, VT -esque to me, with lots of dark lighting and wood furniture, everywhere. You have to walk what feels like a long way to get to the back of the space to order your coffee/ beverage/ food - a very odd choice for a coffee house/shop.
Read moreAfter you order from the extensive menu, you'll be happy to find a table, as there are many, and just sip away. There are good choices for lattes of various sizes with 1 or 2 shots of espresso; pick your non-dairy milk as almond or soy. A few snacks are peppered along the countertops - cookies, pie slices, sweet treats. If you're interested in other food, they have some savory items, like hummus and soup.
It's a decent place for the seating options, but, I was not impressed that it was super vegan friendly. They didn't have non-dairy milk at the self-service to dress up your beverage bar. Oh well. I feel this is a great place for simple coffee and espresso beverages and long hours for focus on something like a book, conversation, or studying.
Pros: Almond milk lattes, Extensive menu for coffee/ espresso, Single or double latte drinks
Cons: Fixings bar doesn't have non-dairy milk, Baked goods selection small for vegan/gf
