Great Service & Delish Pizza❣️ - Edit
The staff here is wonderful and the pizza is amazing! They have excellent vegan options and they use Follow Your Heart plant-based cheese. We went with a large party which they accommodated upon our arrival. Everyone loved their food from the spinach dip to the wide variety of pizzas. I got the Veg Out pizza and ate the entire medium, it was so good! We enjoyed our experience so much that we went back the following evening. The staff greeted/treated us just as wonderfully as the day prior.

Ordered vegan, didn't get vegan - Edit
Told waiter I was looking for vegan options, he says all pizzas can be made vegan. I decided on getting the house pizza made vegan. I get it a while later and the cook guy says gluten free? When dropping it off. I said yeah vegan right? He said yeah, I commented on the meat looking things on the pizza and he said it was fake. So I ate a piece thinking wow they got this stuff spot on. Then I taste bacon and I'm like wow this tastes like real bacon, I pull a piece out from under some other toppings and it was clearly real bacon as well as ham. I had the waiter go and confirm it. Didn't have time to wait for a whole new one nor was I keen on trusting the next one. Was told I could get a discount but I told them I don't think I should pay anything. Haven't had meat in years because it gives me bad joint pain and just overall [censored] health and I feel like garbage. Pretty disappointed. Thankfully the waiter talked to the manager and got it taken care of, wish it didn't happen at all I'd rather pay for something that didn't basically just poison me lol but I still gave him a tip even tho I'm already feeling it in my joints and stomach as I write this.

Mellow mushroom will mess your order up all the time. I keep free pizza from them. Try Papa Murphy. .Amazing and even stuffed pizza can be made vegan.

Great crust! - Edit
We loved our food here! We ate the hummus app and the avacado smash (without feta) and they were both so fresh. We followed up with 2 pizzas: The Pacific Rim and the Wholly Shitake Pie. We had them both veganized and added tempeh to The Pacific Rim. They were great!

Good Food - Edit
The pizza with plant based cheese was pretty good! The salad, soup, + hummus was really nice. They have a good variety of plant based proteins. This is the only pizza restaurant w plant based options in town.

Meh! - Edit
Despite the availability of vegan cheese here, I'm not a fan. The service sucked both times I went here (not busy at all at the time) and the food was way overpriced. Decent pizza, but there are better options in town IMO.

Delicious - Edit
Mellow Mushroom was cozy atmosphere food was "Delish "everything labeled and service was prompt and polite. However the prices don't match the size of the subs and pizzas served. I would definitely come back but as a treat. I highly recommend giving this eatery a try.

Great pizza - Edit
I have been to a couple of Mellow Mushrooms and I always get the Thai Dye Pizza. The pizza is delicious. I also ordered the pita and hummus which was great also. The staff are very friendly. It took a while for the pizza to come out even though it wasn't that busy. I will definitely visit again.

Disappointed - Edit
As the only pizza place in town that has vegan options, I have been here quite frequently. However, I am always disappointed as my food has to be re-made every time. I always (politely) make a point to mention that I am vegan and do not want any cheese on my pizza or butter on my crust, but the items are always added to my food and I have to wait for my meal to be made correctly while the rest of my party is already eating. The staff is always very apologetic and polite, but this is an issue I have every time I visit this restaurant. I do like that they have vegan options such as tempeh and Daiya vegan cheese, the staff are always great and the restaurant has a very laid back, relaxed atmosphere. The food is always good (once I have received my order) and the outside patio is nice during the summer.

More vegetarian friendly than you might think - Edit
I brought my whole vegetarian family here to get pizza. This town is dominated by a meat-eating, beer drinking military types so pizza is often our only treat when we go out with the exception of Thai and Indian food. We were all pleasantly surprised to see so many vegetarian choices and it took us a long time to figure out what delicious foods to try. I ended up with the Portobello Rueben and my wife had the Kosmic Karma pizza. The kids had french bread pizza and apple slices.
