The owners make a small selection of food each day and typically includes yuca con berenjena, (potato with eggplant) cooked in a banana leaf and burger made from oats and soy. Also offers cooking courses. They grow organic produce at their home in the mountains. Little English spoken. Reported closed September 2020.

Lunch only at Mas Salud

I wrote the entry for this restaurant and I personally had a great meal at this small but very friendly and welcoming place. The owners spoke english and were there to advise me while traveling and tell me all about their organic produce at home and how they make their dishes. Highly recommended.

Pros: Quality, Value, Friendly

Cons: Only open lunch time until 4 or 5pm
