Amazing Raw Food Gem

Posted on 11 / 11 / 2011

We went to Manna for lunch, and enjoyed it very much. It's in a great easy-to-find location close to the Daikanyama station.
I started out with the daily green smoothie, which had apple, kiwi, pineapple, spinach, and an enzyme, and tasted really good. Then we had the lunch set, which comes with a salad, an appetizer, a choice of a main daily special dish, and tea or coffee. There were three of us, and we had: the tomato with miso pate (incredibly creamy and delicious), the zucchini pasta genovese (great crunch of the zucchini combined with an amazing basil pesto flavor), and the risotto genovese (same basil pesto sauce). For dessert I ordered the Gateau chocolat cake. It was one of the most incredible chocolate cakes I've ever had, and it was all raw and agave-sweetened! Tasted sinfully delicious, and you'd never guess that they use all healthy ingredients.

Pros: Great location, Incredibly tasty food, Healthy ingredients
Cons: Small portions

Raw Food Yum

Posted on 08 / 17 / 2011

Its a great place to sit on the balcony and overlook the bustle of the street. Its the sort of place you should take your wife or girlfriend for a nice romantic dinner. the food is really good, you wont taste better ideas. It takes a while to prepare the food so be patient, the staff are friendly and the wine choice is very good. be prepared to spend from 10,000 yen up to 20,000 yen for a couple's food and wine, but it is worth it.

Pros: taste, atmosphere, quality
Cons: pricey, need patience
