Nice place with good options

This is a big restaurant but it's kept in a cosy atmosphere. They have quite a few different dishes that are or can be made vegan.
I think the food is classic Bulgarian, and I had a bean stew with vegetables. It tasted fine, but it's a place I would probably only visit once.

Vegan Section on Menu but Sells Veal

Whilst it has an interesting decor inside and a specific Vegan section (which has a few nice meals) it does sell Lamb and Veal. As well as meat by the bucket load.

Pros: Vegan options, Traditional "touristy" decor

Cons: Veal sold, Lot's of Meat Sold here

A few vegan options, too oily, but good place for veg/Omni dinner

This place is clearly a tourist trap, but if you are with a mixed bunch of veggies and Omnis, and want some authentic Bulgarian food, this is a great option! A bit overpriced, but there are plenty of salads and soups to choose from. They have a vegan menu but it's a bit weak, however I had a lovely time regardless.

The Vegan chickpea soup was alright, but the eggplant salad was A bit too oily for my taste. It was still really yummy, but I don't need everything drenched in oil.

Two salads is NOT what is called "serves raw options"

Nice restaurant, but if you want raw or vegan food don't waste your time. Altogether they have 4 salads and 2 of which are raw. Any restaurant can make this kind of raw or vegan dish if you ask.

Amazing Bulgarian Food for Vegans

I was thrilled to find they not only had a vegetarian section on the menu, but a whole section of vegan Bulgarian dishes .I tried a soup and main dish and both were excellent. I wish I had more time in Sofia so I could have returned to try more.

Pros: Selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes, Authentic decor, Fast service

Cons: Servers seemed a bit pretentious

Great option for traditional Bulgarian food.

My boyfriend (vegan) and I (vegetarian) ate here after seeing it mentioned on Happy Cow. While there's plenty of meat dishes on the menu there was no shortage of vegetarian/vegan options. Everything we chose was great with a stuffed paprika dish being our overall favourite. The atmosphere was traditional and it will definitely be a place to take visitors to Sofia. The only downside was that they allowed smoking. Towards the end of the meal a table of smokers sat beside us and that did make the whole experience less pleasant.

They have an English menu.

Pros: Great traditional atmosphere, Plenty of vegetarian/vegan options, English menu

Cons: Smoking :-(

Great atmosphere and awesome food

This restaurant in the heart of Sofia, just few minutes walk from NDK, is probably the best traditional restaurant in the city.

Offers amaizing amount of traditional dishes and very cozy atmosphere.

One of my favorite restaurants in the city.

From 2015 the restaurant offers vegan and raw food.

Pros: Location, Atmosphere & Good service, Great traditional food
