Loving Food

Loving Hut is a well known vegan brand in Singapore and at this outlet @IP just outside Tanjong Pagar MRT station exit C, the Harmony bento set is a must try. Incorporating the LH trade mark Ocean Bliss and Oyster Mushroom, with Japanese soft tofu, achar and salad mix all for a resonable 8.90 ! They are having daily specials and the Soyato ice cream is creamy and lovely. Definitely have to stop by here for your favourite food cooked with love.

Pros: reasonable price, good food, nice staff

Peace ...

A Convenient Vegan Cafe near Tanjong Pagar MRT

In the climate of paranoia over the quality of food and meat, there is a trend that more and more people are experimenting with dishes devoid of meat. As to what reasons, people's choices are many and varied too. Most of do know that substantial, nutritious and exciting meals can be prepared without meat or meat products.

Loving hut is one of these eateries, which cater to vegan or vegetarian or just anyone wanting to enjoy the nutritious meals.

Menu - International cuisine + Asian Fusion + Snacks and Sandwiches

An Asian Food Lover, I ordered tried their Laksa @ $3.8 and Flat Rice Noodle Soup @ $3.8. The Laksa was rather different from the food photo on their menu and the richness was a little too much for my preference unless you love the thick and full-bodied gravy.

The Flat Rice Noodle Soup was quite similar to Vietnamese Pho except it does not have any herbs. For that additional "oomph", you can add chilli padi, no fiery chili oil but they do have garlic oil or sesame oil which is available at the sauce station. Not too sure, do they offer other varieties of noodle like udon or ramen or maybe rice vermicelli besides the flat rice noodle.

Do check out their vegan cake and muffins which look rather interesting.

The downside is that the cafe is just like any other eateries in International Plaza with very limited seating capacity. Take-away might be another alternative just not too environmental friendly unless you bring your own container.

Heavenly Tofu....heavenly indeed.....

Helpful staff, entertaining me even when it's past their closing time of 7pm....great business acument, pleasant attitude...heavenly good tofu :p

Keep up the good work. If more food variety available, such as sushi rolls/ assam fish, I'll be one happy cow.
