Food is tasty but they use microwaves :/

Food is tasty. Amazing vegan meat skewers. I’m not a fan of microwaved food though, I hear them going off in the back. No thank you. I don’t use a microwave at home & I don’t want microwaved food.

Loved it! Highly recommend

The vegan food, atmosphere and friendly staff was so awesome! I loved the Pho soup, dessert and talking with the owners. Thank you so much for such a nice time! Highly recommend!

Owner is dishonest!

Been coming here for a couple years now, but today I made an order for dumplings ($11) and taquitos ($8) and she overcharged me $3 for my order. Total came out to $23.68. There isn't $4.68 tax on $19. I noticed the price was off, and do recall this being a thing in the past as well a couple times, but wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. However, when she went in the back to finish my order she left the screen on and I looked. She had rung in two dumplings. $22 plus tax is about $23.68. Her dishonesty today, which I didn't call her out for while I was there, but maybe I should of, earns her one star. I very much dislike dishonest people. You have lost some loyal customers Loving Hut. I was just telling people at my job how much I liked your food. I will be resending that and will warn them of your dishonesty. Very upsetting.

Trash

The food was cold and stale. I asked for black coffee and it was soooo sweet. It literally tasted like frozen food thrown in the microwave for a few seconds

Delicious shrimp nuggets!

I love Loving Hut and how each one is slightly different, offering something special of its own. This loving hut has vegan nachos and chocolate chip cookies, which I haven’t seen at other loving huts. Everyone in my family loves the shrimp nuggets and spicy cha cha (more vegan shrimp). My family members aren’t even vegan but love the food here.

This Loving Hut also has bottle of vegan fish sauce and vegan jerky for sale.

Pros: Many options , Friendly service , Delicious vegan shrimp!

Excellent and cheap!

The food is delicious. We had the zucchini lasagna, sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls and nachos. Everything was great, felt hearty but still healthy and was very reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt!

Pros: Taste, Cost

Decent food

Ordered the golden rolls, the sweet and sour divine, and the blissful fried rice. Everything was pretty good but not really the best food I’ve ever had. Decent overall and worth a try if you’re in the area but I probably won’t seek it out. Golden rolls were the best thing we had.

Pros: All vegan, Large variety

Cons: A little bland, Mostly fake meat

Wanted to like it...

I really wanted to like the food at this loving hut location. I ordered the pad Thai and it was just average. It was a bit bland, there were no spices, but it was not inedible. That’s not what I look for in a good pad Thai. I like bold flavors, spiciness, and just good taste. And unfortunately it just was not there.

Pros: Very friendly staff, Inexpensive

Cons: Average... bland

Good prices

Food was good not amazing but really affordable. Service was meh. We pretty much had to serve ourselves (there was only one other couple in the restaurant). After ordering, my BF asked for water and she told him to go get it. I asked for sweetener and she pointed to the sugar across the room. I don't expect to be treated like royalty but I'd like to think that you want to be here and make money. She never checked in to see how we were doing, ever. Once the check was brought to us, she finally became very friendly. We still tipped 20% I just wished we felt more welcomed. Was a huge disappointment since we have been excited about trying this new location.

Pros: Parking, Accepts credit card, Affordable

Cons: Service can improve

Great Vegan Food Off The Pier

Food was amazing. We got the "fish" tacos and the teriyaki "chicken". The smoothies and the juices were also very good. I give this 4 stars only because service seemed a bit too slow. That could be because of how crowded it is with the Surfing competition in town though.

Consistently Great Experience

Loving Hut on Brookhurst (at corner of Adams) in Huntington Beach provides a consistently great experience. There is nothing fancy about the place, so if you're looking for that you may be disappointed, but I am usually looking for 4 keys things: good vegan food, friendly service, clean environment and reasonable price - Loving Hut delivers all 4 every time. I have never had anything that disappointed; always delectable. I recommend anything; my husband would say to go with the burgers.

Pros: Reasonably priced, Fairly large portions, Delicious!!!

Cons: Parking can be challenging, Ambiance is not great, but is okay

Tasty, Affordable, Purpose-Driven

The staff was warm and friendly, the food came out quick, the Green Mongolian (w/ veggie chicken) was excellent! I was so satisfied, but wanted more, so then ordered the Pad Thai (which was alright). All the while a tv screen played a loop of environmentally friendly and vegetarian-promoting clips and slideshows. The portions and quality of food are great for the price, will definitely eat there again.

Pros: Tasty, Affordable, Proactive

Typical Great Loving Hut!

All the power to all of the Loving Huts and followers of the Supreme Master. If you don't appreciate what is being shown on TV, don't watch it. However, watching it may enlighten you. If you think that you know it all already, you probably don't. When you are fully enlightened, you can only in good conscience eat as a vegan, and this Loving Hut is a great place to eat. I was visiting from Michigan, and I ate here twice. The meals and appetizers were great, but the desserts were over the top.

Asian Vegan Goodness

I got the Lemongrass Beauty and BBQ Sandwich. Both were really good though I liked the BBQ best, which was only $4.50! Better than the average Asian Vegan restaurant. Very nice cashier as well.

Pros: Inexpensive, BBQ Sandwhich

YUM!!!

We had never been to a Loving Hut until we visted this new location. The food was better than expected and the portions are generous for the price. The menu has a lot of standard asian dishes, but with more flavor than you usualy find (such as carmelized onions in the spring rolls!). The menu also featured a burger and sweet potato fries! Friendly staff and clean. If the large TV broadcasting the supreme master channel isnt a bother, then its a very pleasant dining experience. I hope this loving hut gets a lot of business. please go and eat there!! Support 100% vegan eateries!!!
