I had read about this place opening on HappyCow, so I went in for a look. Here's my LifeFood Organic review.
This cafe took over the location of the now defunct Raw Star. The new people re-painted and gave a make-over to the space, making it look modern, inviting, and even spacious even though it's a small space (high ceiling, white paint).
The counter brims with all sorts of goodies: packaged snacks, chilled raw pies/cakes, bottle drinks, and assorted prepared foods both raw and a few cooked.
I got a bottled carrot/ginger/lemon juice and a slice of raw chocolate cake/pie that was amazing.
The prices are quite high, but it's supposed to be all organic and hand-crafted (example: raw cake slice was $10).
I am looking forward to returning to try the raw food, like a raw wrap and the raw noodles... and definitely more raw cake slices!Pros: must try raw pie/cake
