We have been lucky enough to do a lot of traveling and have stayed at a wide range of places - but Le Quatre Puits truly stands apart. It is such an authentically beautiful property with so many thoughtful little touches all throughout. My husband, I, and are three children stayed in a family room, with a spacious room with a double bed, bathroom and separate bedroom with 3 single beds in it for the children. We felt like we had a good amount of privacy but also the opportunity to socialize with the other lovely people staying on the property, which we so enjoyed. We are all vegan and loved every full breakfast each morning, and we also ate some incredible vegan dinners there every night - sometimes in the dining hall, sometimes outside, under the gorgeous trees. Fantastic food, lovely desserts, free-flowing wine, juices, the works.
John and Keith were excellent hosts - not only did they make our stay truly excellent, they also went above and beyond to help us with directions, information, suggestions, book a great horseback outing. John even set up a breakfast table for us when we had to leave crazy early on our last morning - quite thoughtful.
The kids loved the saltwater pool, and we loved all the spots to curl up and read in the lovely gardens and walk down to the pond or borrow bikes and ride down. Can't speak more highly of this place, truly magical - we will definitely be heading back!Pros: Beautiful grounds, Excellent vegan food, Peaceful environment
