We loved our lunch here! Ordered an eggplant soup, lentil soup and hot dog. All were delicious! Soups were flavoursome and came with tortillas on the side. Will be back during our time here. Also got three cookies from the counter, they lasted a whole 3 minutes after we walked out.
Was so happy to find this completely vegan restaurant in such a random place. The name was perfect as well. The pictures of cows on the wall threw me off at first but it was definitely vegan.
Anywho, super nice to not have to ask a million questions about the dishes cause they were 100% plant based, I made sure.
They had loads of gluten free options as well which was fantastic!
The chef was a little bit of a hypocrite though haha talking about how she just wants to eat a nice, real steak but oh well the food she made was tasty.
Their bread was delicious and so was the carrot cake.
Muchas gracias!
we visited during low season, so perhaps that's the reason there was nobody there. We arrived early in the evening, and the place was empty and dark. However once we got service it was super friendly. The food is delicious, and like any other vegan place which is the only vegan place in town - it covers lots of types of food. The burger is excellent. The tofu gyro is ok.
Importantly, as there was only one guy doing everything, it took a long time for the food to arrive. Maybe during high season it's better
Nice little cafe, all vegan, good English spoken. A mix of sandwiches and entrees, as well as deserts (cookies, cakes etc). They make some cheeze in-house, and offer some meat substitutes as well.
The only vegan spot in Antigua. They have a lot of choices, and I liked everything. I tried the lentils burger and the hot dog which are served alone.
Really well located, sympathetic staff. Pleasant atmosphere. I regret that the staff doesn’t answer when we asked the composition of the homemade fake meat. The prices are reasonnable (about 2-4 $ by dish).
I liked this resto because it was all vegan and cheap. Nearly everything was around $2. Granted the portions were smaller, too, but where else could I get a chickpea-lentil burger for $2? Lots of fun options like vegan ayran and they eve had nachos (which was actually just chips with a cheesy dip and a spicy salsa dip).
