Big selection

The buffet starting at 7pm has a large vegetarian selection. But everything tastes like olives so if you don’t like olives, don’t go. The buffet was 80dh/pp. There was wonderful live music. And the rooftop was lovely until it started to rain, then everything moved downstairs.

Pros: Lots of veggie options

Cons: Everything tastes likes olives

Amazing dinner

We were with a vegan tour group and had an amazing dinner here. If you are a group you may be able to request a separate vegan meal. They also have a buffet with lots of the same vegan foods on it but they do have meat on it as well.

Get the buffet!!

Omg, the buffet from 19:00 is so vegan friendly. All starters (about 12) are vegan and there’s a veggie couscous as well as veggie Tajine. The soup is vegan too, as well as the bread. For dessert there is a selection of fruits

Delicious food, welcoming atmosphere

We came here twice and they welcomed us back. I had the tajine and the salades marocaine the first time and the couscous as well as soup the second time. We shared the soup plus the briouates. My husband ate the briouades since they were with cheese.
The portions are huge.
The ice tea is freshly made, try it.
The shop downstairs is lovely.

Great service

Not a lot of vegan options besides the couscous and the tajine but I modified the curry to be plant-based. The terrace is lovely and they have live music.

Nice staff and food.

Nice staff made sure we found all the vegan options. We had the buffet in the evening and liked it a lot. It had a lot of different salads and the couscous/tajine that were vegan. Buffet was 140 MAD and half price for children. They have a terrace and live music with a dancer too.

Pros: Great tasting food, Plenty of vegan options

Good food, music nice people

Very cosy restaurant, especially outside on the terrace during sunset. The waiters were friendly and courteous, and the food was nice as well. Though, I have to say that I already had better Tajine in a cheaper restaurant. I really liked that there was live music at the terrace.

Good food, nice terrace

We liked this place which offers vert tasty different vegan options and a great rooftop. I totally loved the maroccan salad full or tastes.
Be careful if you are vegan, the soup and samosas might be done with dairy (ask it).

We paid 300 diramh for : soup samosas, maroccan salad, vegan berber tagine, vegan couscous, 1 fresh orange juice and 1,5L of mineral water.

Pros: Tasty, vegan labeled

Cons: I am not sure the couscous sauce was 100% vegan

Our first tajine in Morocco, very good 👍

This was the first place we ate at when we arrived in Morocco, the food was very good and the portions were decent. The veggie/vegan menu is similar to most of the other Moroccan restaurants in the area but the food is really good! Staff spoke English & French and were aware about which foods were vegan.

Pros: Tasty food, Staff spoke English

Cons: Limited options

De nombreux choix végétariens

Le Kui-zin de par son rapport qualité -prix est ma cantine. Les salades sont délicieuses et généreuses. Les lasagnes et moussakas très bonnes. Ne partons des desserts maison tous fameux.

Not vegan but does offer vegan options...

There is really only one vegan restaurant in Marrakesh. There are many others that offer some vegan options and Kui-Zin is one of them. In my opinion it is among the best of them. What you will find in most restaurants with vegan options are: various salads, vegan couscous and vegan tangine. Kui Zan does a wonderful job with all three of these options. You will find the waiter here friendly and able to speak at least five languages. The prices are very affordable and the restaurant interior and atmosphere is very relaxing.

Pros: Good location in the old town, Nice interior and atmosphere., The vegan options are very tasty

Cons: They do serve meat which is a no-no for a vegan, This is why I can not give it 5 stars/

Tasty and hospitable

Warm and welcoming establishment

Starters were great: soup and selection of Moroccan salads

Mains were so/so: vegetarian couscous was good, but their moussake wasn't great

Local band playing, attentive and charming staff, comfortable seating and great lighting

PS Location shown on here is wrong - google it for correct location, near to Le Jardin

Pros: Charming staff, Reasonable selection

Cons: Don't order the moussaka!

Tasty vegan and vegetarian meals

We were so impressed with the food and wide veggie/vegan selection at Kui-Zin that we ate there twice in one day! There is a set menu of a dish plus water for 60 DH / 6 €, which is cheap-ish for Marrakech. Our dishes were delicious and the service was great. The waiters all speak French and English. The terrace is so nice and the atmosphere in general is great. Vegan dishes include moroccan salads, pasta with tomato sauce and vegetable tajine.

Pros: Quality of the food, Atmosphere, Terrace

Cons: Mostly veggie, not vegan
