Take-out
Non-veg
Serves meat, vegan options available. A New Orlean style sandwiches poboy restaurant with something not often seen in poboy shops--vegan poboy that aren't French fry poboys. The choice changes from time and to and might be a roasted sweet potato & greens poboy or roasted vegetables poboy. Relocated from 811 Conti St. Open Mon 10:00am-8:00pm, Wed-Sun 10:00am-8:00pm.

Good sandwich - Edit
We were staying a few doors away from here. Had the Thai Tofu sandwich. Kind of reminded me of a Bahn Mi sandwich. Very tasty and a little spicy.

Can’t go wrong - Edit
Quick and easy. The lady behind the register praised all of their vegan options with pride and excitement. I got the cauliflower Po’Boy. The kale chips sprinkled in were and interesting touch. I very much look forward to trying the other options. #Veganuary

Poboy without the killer - Edit
This is a pretty good review. Since they serve meat, 4 stars is the top, and it's not the top, but it was very good.

I got the sweet potato poboy and my spouse got the cauliflower poboy. Loved the greens and the flavors were not lacking at all for vegan options which happens sometimes.

Veg PoBoy - Edit
Vacationing in New Orleans with meat eaters I was a hungry vegan for a good part of the week. Before a bar tour I needed food. The majority of my friends wanted to eat at a place that only offered an iceberg salad that I would have to modify. So a friend offered to go somewhere else so I wouldn't have to eat alone again. Yay for friends. We decided on Killer Poboys.
Read moreThis is a awesome hole in the wall in the middle of the city. I ordered the lemongrass tofu. I think I should have gone with the other vegan option. but it was good. the staff was great, side note my omni friend went with an animal protien option and she said it was the best food she had on the trip. So this is a great option if you are traveling with death eaters.

Thanks for the tips. Heading to NOLA and I know what it’s like to eat alone. Death eaters, funny in a sad way.

Cauliflower poboy for the win! - Edit
I've stopped in 2x in 2 days and have tried the Cauliflower poboy and the Thai Tofu poboy. In my opinion, the cauliflower was the best. There's generally a lack of vegan options in the French Quarter, but this place makes up for that with 3 really solid sandwiches.

Ok yeah! - Edit
They have 3 vegan poboy options, plus a pecan butter and jelly sandwich. I tried the Thai BBQ Tofu Poboy and loved it! The tofu was downright delectable! Everything in it tasted great, the only issue was the slaw was too wet and made part of the bread gooey (ew). I also got to try the pecan butter and jelly sandwich. Do not sleep on this sandwich! It’s hearty and well balanced, 8/10 would recommend!

Worth stopping by if you're on Bourbon Street - Edit
Worth stopping by if you're on Bourbon Street and looking for a vegan poboy. They have 3 options.
Read moreThe sweet potato/collard greens poboy was underseasoned and 1 dimensional. It lacked texture and bite. The ratio of greens to sweet potato was off (not enough sweet potato on mine) 4/10
The tofu bbq poboy the on the other hand was great! The tofu was plentiful, cooked well and seasoned nicely. The coleslaw was delicious and gave the sandwich a nice bite. And the spicy peanuts added a nice crunch and pop of flavor. 8.5/10

Nice vegan options - Edit
I had a sweet potato poboy with spinach and an excellent sauce made with black eyed peas. It wa very good. My wife eats gluten free and they don’t have gluten free bread but they took their cauliflower poboy and put it over spinach salad. It was very good as well.

Quick, tasty and filling sandwich. The staff was so friendly! It was just enough to keep me energized but not grossly full in this New Orleans heat!

Not great - Edit
The BBQ tofu sammy is edible but not great. And no vegan sides except potato chips. The vegetarian potato salad seems to have sour cream in it and tasted spoiled.

Vegan food near Bourbon St! - Edit
They had a few vegan options which was awesome especially being in the French Quarter. We got the roasted sweet potato po boy and the cauliflower poboy (it's listed as sandwich but can be made into a poboy). We also ordered the spinach salad which was pretty simple. Would be better with another veggie or two added. Poboys were great tho!

I had the Thai tofu, which was very flavourful! The bread was delicious, great flavour profile. I was glad to see 3 vegan options to choose from. I think a pulled seitan would be an amazing option!

Not a Poboy, Cher! - Edit
We went, with high expectations, and were all disappointed. Now, that was during COVID, so it's been a while. But, all I remember is overcooked greens and an unpleasant flavor. If you want a vegetarian poboy, best bet is a dressed french fry poboy from Parran's or Parkway Tavern.

Chance to sample a po'boy - Edit
This place has a dive-type atmosphere, with friendly service and a bunch of vegan options. I had the sweet potato po’boy, and my friends tried the other vegan po’boys, and we all enjoyed them. Po’boys are a NOLA staple, so I am grateful this place gave me an opportunity to sample a vegan version.

Not as good as last time - Edit
We loved the poboys that we got at the Erin Rose location 5 years ago. This time, they said that they only had 1 vegan poboy on the menu and recommended that we go to the Dauphine location for more options. We took that advice and got a cauliflower and a BBQ tofu poboy. They were tasty but so dry and plain. We got sides of cooked greens, and they were tasty. I don’t think we’ll go back unless there aren’t alternatives next time.

Good vegan option in the quarter - Edit
Of the three vegan options, I tried the tofu and sweet potato sandwiches. The former was great, but the latter was just too much starch (words I never thought I’d write). It was also interesting people watching at 7 on a Friday night. Maybe it wasn’t a stand out, but good food for a night of drinking
