Enjoyable for a quick snack or smoothie

Don't get too caught up on the picture, the breakfast burrito was quite tasty. Pretty small though but that seemed alright regarding the price. Plus after you ordered food there you can have breakfast at Tiffany's near by 😉

Delicious juices

Nice selection on the menu made it super easy to grab a nutritious smoothie after a run in the park

Pros: Choice, Friendly

Cons: Pricey (but it is Manhattan!)

Entrance on 59th St . (not Madison)

If you go to 625 Madison Avenue and look for Juice Press, you'll get confused--what is listed as 625 Madison is a residence. You must go around the corner, on 59th between Madison and Park, and you will see this venue.

Juice Press is a great chain, with healthy organic food, quick service, and a bunch of options. This branch is a bit larger than most other Juice Press branches--not large, mind you, but larger. Though mostly geared for takeout, I give this branch an extra star because it has a bunch of available places to sit and little tables in case you want to eat in (but no bathroom for customers). It is listed on Happy Cow as a vegetarian restaurant (because it does offer a bunch of savory items), but you might instead think of this more as a juice place with some bonuses.

Pros: Healthy, organic food, Mostly vegan (except for honey in some items, Places to sit and eat

Juice

I recently visited Juice press, an organic, juice bar. There is minimal seating, and it is quite small, but you'll forget about that when you taste the amazing juices and vegan desserts. I bought a fantastic green juice. It was sweet and gave me a great boost of energy.

Any New Yorker will tell you...

...that Juice Press is the best and -- rightfully -- most popular cold-pressed juice spot in the city. There are locations nearly in every neighborhood, and each one has a similar atmosphere that is somehow both laid-back and energetic all at once. There are so many options, so you never get bored! I think that some of the smoothie recipes and raw foods are a bit repetitive, but this is hardly a complaint. And yes, of course, everything is super expensive, but I'm one of those who has been brainwashed to believe that it's worth it! Some of my favorites: Doctor Earth, Body Fit, Perfect Pear, Lucky Seven (juices), The Brazilian, Formula 12, Rainforest (smoothies), Marinated Kale Salad, Acai Bowl, Raw Oatmeal, Raw Hummus Wrap (raw foods)...but you really can't go wrong!
