A small, a la carte restaurant serving veggie Taiwanese dishes such as mushroom stew, currys, sesame-fried rice, and various forms of mock meat. Has English menu though not spoken. Not to be confused with Veggie Joy on Jhonghua Rd.

Excellent food, lovely owner

I used to live in the area, and never actually made it here, but happened to visit the other night and am disappointed I didn't come when I lived nearby - I would have definitely become a regular customer!
All the dishes I tried were very delicious (I particularly liked the spinach pancake) and the owner was absolutely lovely. As I speak Mandarin I was able to confirm with the owner that none of the dishes contain milk or eggs, so vegans don't need to worry about these (I'm not entirely sure about honey, though none of the dishes appear to).
Would absolutely recommend visiting.

Pros: Friendly owners, Tasty food

Cons: A bit far from the city

Tasty and spicy dishes

Merely stumbled upon this restaurant next to the Qizhang MRT station because I live next door but by now I'm a regular customer. Small and cosy, very creative menu and helpful staff. Even though they do not speak English, they never hesitate to recommend their favourites and have a small paper sheet with translations of most items of the menu. Anything I've tried so far was tasty and unlike any other Taiwanese vegetarian food I had tasted before, especially the monkey mushroom dishes! So even though it's a little far from the center, I strongly recommend this place - also a nice way to experience a very different neighbourhood of Taipei!

Pros: Very tasty food, Cosy, Kind staff

Cons: A little far from central Taipei
