Not good

Posted on 08 / 20 / 2013

After having AMAZING food at the HB in Soho, we were very disappointed with this one. No table service, we weren't given menus, they let couples take up big benches - in Soho they sit people side by side on the benches. The food was the same except the avocado was off so the guacamole tasted disgusting. The mint and ginger lemonade was good.

Very disappointing!

No better than your local kebab shop

Posted on 04 / 30 / 2013

Was looking forward to visiting Hummus Bros as the previous reviews had both given it the maximum amount of cows for a non-veg place. Was rather disappointed as it appeared to be a "trendy" style kebab shop. The hummus was very bland as were the beans (hardly any garlic in the hummus). The pita was good, and the chilli dip was also good.
I think I must have missed something about this place as I felt that I'd have been better getting a hummus/salad in pita from a kebab shop.

Pros: ok-ish
Cons: boring, no real flavour

I absolutely LOVE Hummus Bros. The food is delicious, it's quick and cheap and the staff are always incredibly helpful and friendly.
The menu is clearly labelled and the staff are really knowledgeable about the food and vegan diets.

Pros: Great food , Cheerful staff , Cheap!

Pleasant and convenient

A very pleasant find. Not all-veg but, as you might guess from the
name, very veg and vegan friendly.

Oddly, the hummus itself -- their centerpiece -- is rather bland. But
their fava beans (ful) is fantabulous. The warm pita is tasty.

The portions are large, so order the regular unless you're really
hungry. The staff, ambiance, etc. are all good and I'd gladly go

Pros: multiple options, inexpensive, pleasant
Cons: hummus is bland, not all-veg
