Very nice place

Better than Nuts & Grains. Very nice selection of food, vitamins/minerals, body care products. This store leans more to the asian healing ways so products that fall into this category are easily found here. They have all the basics and then some. The people were very nice and they have a loyaly card program thing. Raw premade snack mixes are generally lower prices here while everything else falls a little bit above average for Guam.

Nice shop with many different things

Posted on 08 / 24 / 2009

I really enjoyed shopping at Healthy glad I came as I found many things that I never was able to find in Japan, and also the prices are very reasonable. I don't think they are expensive when we compare to Japan. I understand that shipping is fairly high nowadays, but still prices are great! Also, the staff is quite knowledgable and friendly. Customer service is very great. Also, I don't know what previous viewer meant when she said there are 0 customers...was she there the whole day. The whole time I was there, about 30 minutes, there were customers coming in and they are not desperate for any customer. Please note this is sure a place worth going even if you have to rent a car.

Pros: variety, reasonable price, friendly staff

Across from the Mobile gas station in Dededo.

Posted on 05 / 31 / 2009

This shop is a little difficult to find and requires a rental car or you living there to get to. It's located across the street from Mobile and Shell gas stations in a small shopping area on the left side. Don't look for any Loreta street or the Micronesian mall or you'll be driving forever. Loreta street looks like a driveway and all of Guam's smaller roads are poorly identified. Follow this path...Go to the Dededo area by following Route 1 and turn onto Yseng Song Road/Route 28, then look for the gas stations soon afterwards. If you live in the US main land or Europe and are vegetarian or vegan, this shop is not worth the visit besides to purely support the little amount of health shops in Guam. Be super careful if you buy a product here though as this shop is not vegetarian/vegan. It's also fairly expensive. In my encounters, very few Guam naturals understand vegetarianism as well, so don't expect the staff here to say..."Wait don't buy this, it's not vegetarian". They also have almost 0 customers so they'll take any money they can. Have fun on Guam beaches! Cheers!

Pros: Very friendly staff, One of the very few health shops in Guam
Cons: not too many vegetarian options, Expensive, Small and difficult to find.
