THE Veggie Option In Wedding

3 Posted on 06 / 02 / 2013

Hasina Eatery is a rare thing in Wedding where one Kebab store sits next to the other. The owner are very nice and totally open to the veggie culture. They serve chicken because they think they wouldn't survive without meat at the menue. That's sad but maybe true for northern Wedding where no hipster lives. The food tastes good, portions are big and the price more than fair. A great place to eat out in Wedding!

Pros: Medium Size Menue, Nice Staff, Cheap
Cons: Serves Meat

Brand-new and worth being discovered!

4 Posted on 10 / 17 / 2012

The quarter of Berlin-Wedding is sort of a blank spot in the German capital, when it comes to vegan food.
I was happy and surprised to find Hasina, close to the station Rehberge. With eight(!) vegan main dishes it offers a suprisingly generous vegan choice for a restaurant that serves meat, too. Also, no flavor enhancers or preservatives are added.

I had tofu and mango in tomato sauce, which was simply delicious - very fresh, aromatic and light.
I forgot to ask, which tofu they are using. It was silken and moist, yet not too soft and perfectly complemented the ripe and sweet cubes of mango.

Hasina had had its opening only a couple of weeks before I went there. The place is very nice and clean. The service is welcoming, attentive and very friendly.
When I was chatting with the owner it became obvious, how sincerely he cares about promoting healthy food, especially vegan and vegetarian food. I am looking forward to coming back to try more!

Pros: fresh, healthy, friendly
