Cozy and yummy food

You can really feel the love in the food they make here. In such a meat and dairy heavy city we were super stoked to find this place so close to our hotel. The food was delicious so we even went back for lunch the next day for the set lunch menu which was amazing priced.

Nutritious and Delicious! 🌿

I stumbled across Lohas when walking along the Sapporo Shopping Arcade and I'm so pleased I did. Lohas offers a handful of set meals, which included dishes for vegans and veggies. The meal was so tasty and healthy, would recommend!

Nice and filling

Everything was clearly labeled. We got the soba noodles (also gluten free) and the curry. I think the noodles were a bit more filling, also be aware that it's basically just cold noodles with soy sauce and a salad and rice, still tasty though, but next time I would take the curry or the other dish.

Pros: Clearly labeled vegan & gf, Good amount of food, Many vegan desserts

Cons: Not much veggies/protein with noodles

Delicious vegan options

We tried the sushi, curry, pasta and raw cake. All were very tasty and we were happy to find a location with vegan options after 10pm.

Not fully vegan as marked on Happy Cow

I was a little skeptical going into this restaurant because I had read some reviews saying that some of the dishes were not vegan, but this restaurant is marked as an all vegan restaurant on Happy Cow.

It turns out, my hunch was right and the shop is not 100% vegan, although it is close. This is an important distinction to make because if you go in thinking everything is vegan, you might let your guard down and order something not realizing that it isn't vegan.

My husband ordered the curry and I ordered the gapao rice. Since I was skeptical, I asked upon ordering, "is everything vegan?" and she said "no, but it can be changed to be vegan." Apparently, some of the items including the ones we were ordering usually contain seafood ingredients. We had her make it vegan - it was a good thing I asked!

The taste was good, but it wasn't my favorite. I enjoyed the nut sushi the best. The hamburg in my husband's curry was very soft and didn't have much texture or bite to it.

It was kind of crowded and all of the customers were foreigners, excluding my husband. The owner was doing everything on her own, so we had to wait a bit. I would advise to avoid the lunch rush (12-1pm) if you can.

Pros: food was alright

Cons: not everything is vegan, don't let down your guard

Okay but not impressed

The protein salad was okay but not all great. The nuts sushi was super small so a bit expensive.

Delicious and healthy food!

Cozy small place with yummy food! Gets you healthy and full! Food is flavourful and tastes healthy.
Remember to ask to make some sets vegan! If you go with large party and only one person is serving behind the bar, expect to wait a little bit.

I've had 3 meals here in 3 days!

I'm really glad that my hotel is close to the cafe so I can keep dropping by. So far I've ordered one lunch set, another lunch set takeaway for a road trip and a dinner. The staff is very friendly and the food is beautifully presented. The menu is fully vegan (except for one very clearly marked dashi sauce which has bonito flakes) and mostly based on raw, whole foods. The cafe is very cosy.

Pros: Fully vegan and whole food menu, Very pretty cafe with amazing staff, English lunch menu available

Nice place in the city center

It's a cosy place in the center of Sapporo. They have an English menu and as one of the previous comments stated, all dishes are vegetarian/vegan now - in one case they use fish broth, which can be exchanged.
Food was nicely served and portion was big enough. They have 3 lunch sets and desserts and take-away options.

Pros: Quality of food, Location , Cosy atmosphere

Hi, what date did you visit? I visited yesterday, Monday 16 May at about 5pm and the lady turned me away stating they were closed. Just checking if I should make the trip again as I really want to try their food?

Sweet, Precise Food

Such a wonderful cafe on Minami3Jonishi walking street. Everything is well flavored. A standout is the salad, which has such a beautiful assortment of vegetables, the freshest greens, a savory dressing, and the option for a protein! Get a tea, get the soba noodles if you can, order a hand roll, and watch the snow fall! Didn’t try the desserts, but they look fabulous!

Pros: Salad!!!!!, Soba noodles!!!!, Quantity and presentation

Cons: Small restaurant, all made fresh, so short wait

Perfect protein stop for lunch

All vegan options, 4 options for lunch sets, all at a reasonable price. Opted for the protein lunch set consisting of a protein drink and salad with soy protein.

Great Place

Lohas is really nice, the staff are nice, and I've never seen a meat option since I started going there. Plus, if you're GF, you can order GF options.
As a meat eater usually, I go here with my friends who are Vegetarian or Vegan; the food itself is nice and filling. And the desserts after are delicious.

Great, central raw food

Lohas was easy to locate at the end of Tanuki Koji, and is a small cafe with both English and Japanese menus. They serve raw food - Japanese cuisine with a Western spin. Portion sizes are small but it's refreshing to have delicious Japanese style vegetables and a tasty treat - worth the price.

Pros: Easy to locate, Fresh, healthy food

Cons: A little $$

Nothing special but this place was open while others in the area were closed, the service was fast and the food selection I tried tasted nice for the price

Soba noodles and a delicate menu

The flavours in the soba set menu were subtle but very good. The menu was vegan and mostly gluten free - at least I don’t recall seeing any non-vegan options. I would like to give it 5 stars but am unable to.

Pros: Vegan, Lovely atmosphere, Unique flavours

Cons: A little pricey, A little out of the way
