Affordable homely food that doesn’t skimp on quality - Edit
Excellent value Macao/Portuguese food - big portions, and lots of flavor. Didn’t seem to have an English menu or a menu with photos, so recommend going with someone who can read and speak Chinese. My Macao local friend went for the first time and thought it was one of the best restaurants they’d been to in Macao, vegetarian or not, for the value and the fact that it doesn’t skimp on quality but loads each dish with lots of ingredients.

Cons: Doesn’t appear to have any English menu

Weird food - Edit
Got soup of the day and an African curry. Both had a severe lack of salt and both were painfully sweet.
Read moreSince I speak neither Chinese nor Portuguese, I had no way of conveying this to the waiter/server. Also, the coconut flavour was something I simply did not anticipate as I was thinking I would be getting a spicy dish.
Pros: English menu, Cheap, Huge portions
Cons: Too many options, Too much mock meat

delicious vegetarian Macanese-Portuguese food - Edit
Traditionally, local Macanese-Portuguese food in Macau is very meat heavy and not suitable for vegetarians. This little restaurant gives a good taste of the local food, as they serve a large variety of Portuguese food, all of which have been vegetarianised with mock meats.
Read moreWe ordered the African chicken curry, and assorted mock meats baked in tomato sauce over rice. The food was flavourful and realistic (recalling from the non-veg version I ate when I was younger) and the portions are decently large so it's good for sharing. Staff are kind too.
Pros: Good food, Good menu, Inexpensive
Cons: A bit greasy, Heavy on mock meat
