i'll be honest. i thought this place was a little weird the first time i went here. you park in the back, walk up a ramp into the cafe portion, then walk thru the cafe into the market which is a bunch of delicious foods on shelves lining the walls of what is obviously a house. lol. i was like, whoa, weird, but also, thats kinda cool. when you first walk in is all the canned goods to the right and some boxed and freezer stuff to the left then theres a room on the right with all the bulk spices/herbs. that room continues around to the room w/ non food stuff like cleaning supplies and various other cool stuff. then this room meets back up w/ the way you came in and theres some local produce (awesome! a tiny non-co-op market w/ produce!) and a kombucha cooler and some dried goods. by the counter is all the goodies like chocolate and cute like gifts. they dont use bags here, so bring your own, but if you forget they have a bunch of boxes they can put your stuff in. everytime i come here im always expecting it to be really expensive and its always super cheap compared to my expectation. this is a really great little store that you can order food at in the cafe in the back? front? lol while you shop if you want. sweet!

Pros: fresh produce!, its like a fun maze!, you can order food at the cafe
Cons: weird the first time

On the way home to NY we passed through Martinsburg around lunch time. We stopped by and had a wonderful lunch.

Hummus for a starter, a great veggie bean soup, and the “Sweetest” Potato Falafel.

The falafel came with a salad which was phenomenal.

I wish they were closer to home, I would eat there everyday!!!! :-)

Pros: fresh food, great service , great prices
Cons: parking was a little crazy ( in the back )
