One of the best in Sao Paulo

I've been going to Goa restaurant since 2008, most recently in September 2015, and it has been consistently one of my favorite places for lunch. It's a sit-down restaurant, not a buffet (like so many other lunch places in town). They typically have 2-3 appetizers and 3 main courses, all for a set price (including tea or juice and dessert on weekends). Vegan and gluten-free choices are clearly indicated. On my most recent visit, 2 of the 3 main courses were vegan, as were both of the appetizers and one of the desserts. The food was very tasty - my group of 3 ordered each of the dishes and I was able to try a bite of each. They were all excellent, as has been the case on my past visits. Portions were sufficient - not gigantic, but just right. On my past trips to Goa, they offered seconds, but we didn't ask if this is still the policy. Bottom line - if you want to stuff yourself, go to one of the all-you-can-eat buffets. If you want a tasty lunch in a sit-down restaurant with a nice ambience, try Goa for lunch. Very creative combinations of spices and cuisines from around the world. As a side point, the name Goa implies Indian, but there is not an Indian influence in the food. Not that this matters at all - it's one of the best places for lunch.

Pros: Tasty food, Vegan choices, Nice atmosphere

Wonderful!

I LOVE this restaurant! Everything there is amazing, from the food to the environment. Everyday they have a fixed menu, so then you can choose among two or three options. The food is delicious, tasteful and they allow you to "repeat" your dish or try the other option without charging for it. The natural juices are incredible as well as the desserts. It is located in a huge and charming house, in Pinheiros neighbourhood. The decoration has some Indian accent, very nice. The price is good too. Finally, the staff are lovely and careful. One of the best restaurants in São Paulo!

Pros: Food , Environment, Price

The worst vegetarian restaurant in São Paulo

The ambiance is cool, with plants and garden, but only these things are nice in this place.
The food is expensive and served in small dishes - and about the taste... It's nothing special.
