I absolutely love this place. There are several vegan options in their food and drinks and lots of unique specialty drinks to choose from. I would highly recommend the Vegan Pot Pie.
The pot pie can be purchased by the slice or take a whole one home for $25. They need an hour for this but well worth it!
The locations parking is a little tricky I usually park in the neighborhood but the inconvenience is worth it with the great food, drinks, and customer service.
I wish I could love this place. It's so charming, has local events, and is a place I could spend hours with friends enjoying coffee and food, but the desserts were....terrible. Unfortunately we decided not to get anything else because of them. They looked fantastic, I had heard positive things about them, and jumped right in grabbing a couple of items to try first while we settled in. I really hope the day I went was just a bad day. We couldn't finish our cakes they were hard as rocks, especially the one called Tiramisu! A Tiramisu should not be a solid cake brick. It had no coffee, chocolate, or similar flavor to it either, so I'm not sure why they named it as such. The frostings/icings had an odd aftertaste too, clearly some oil base that was not mixing well with the sugar. After scraping off the frosting, the banana cake was better but too dry, and didn't get rid of the odd oily feel. It leaves an uncomfortable film in your mouth. We left really disappointed. While I liked the ambiance and it seems a favorite place for locals, I will return one day if I'm spending time with friends but I really really hope their sweets get better.
I had their Chickpea Salad Sandwich. It was delicious and vegan. Most of their drinks can be made vegan or are already vegan. Very friendly staff, I will definitely come back.
Great soy latte and soy chai latte. I also tried the vegan sausage sandwich with mustard and kraut and the garden bagel. Both vegan and a quick, tasty and filling lunch/breakfast. They also have a vegan pot pie and vegan baked goods that look delish. Cute decor, and great music, and most importantly, great service.
