Family feast - Edit
We were very pleased with the food in this restaurant! We were a family of 8, ordering 2, 3, 4 plates each... we had a serious feast and the waiter and kitchen delivered it all beautifully! Lots of vegan and veg options. Right on the beach overlooking the sea. Great prices and good staff. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely loved staying here! There was a small vegetarian menu and the staff was always helpful and kind when I asked for no eggs. They even remembered that I didn’t like eggs the next day!

ok but not worth traveling to - Edit
This is a very typical Thai place offering a few veg options. They aren't knowledgeable of what's vegan and it's best to tell them no fish sauce, no oyster sauce on dishes. I'd only come back here if I were staying nearby. Relaxed place.

Great food and awesome hotel! - Edit
My husband and I ended up staying at First Villa for several nights while on Koh Phangan, and we were pleased to see that they had a decent amount of vegan food. All of the vegetarian food on the menu was vegan, as it didn't include eggs or dairy.
Read moreThe hotel is run by a family, and one of the family members goes vegetarian for about a month every year... hence the vegan selection. Some of the highlights were the stir fried veggies with tofu, sweet and sour veggies with tofu, and cashew veggies with tofu. Note that rice isn't included with most dishes, so you'll have to order rice separately.
Each entree was around US$4, which was pretty expensive for Thailand. But you have to consider that you're eating at a hotel (which is almost always pricier). We honestly didn't leave the resort once for food, and didn't find ourselves going hungry at all :)
Also, be sure to check out all of the fruit juices/shakes they have!
Pros: Super friendly staff, Awesome view, Yummy vegan friendly food
