Vegan garlic dip (and other vegan dips)!!

This pizza shop has always been a go-to for my friends and I. It never disappoints! My favourite is the spicy vegan pizza.

The vegan pizza is tasty and light (you can eat the whole thing and not feel terrible). There are also several vegan dipping sauces!

We’re lucky to have such a great local gourmet pizza place in Ottawa.

Good but not amazing vegan pizza

Lots of vegan choices and the menu is clearly marked.
Service seems slow and they could be more generous with the toppings.

Amazing Vegan Toppings!

I tried their herbivore pizza (subbed the cheese for dairy free mozzarella) and their tempeh bacon and jackfruit pepperoni were incredible!! Their gluten-free crust was also super fluffy! The store was also such a cool design, they modernized a downtown building very well with garage doors. It looks like a beautiful place to eat in the summer!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Delicious unique toppings , Gluten free crust!

Cons: A bit expensive for gluten free crust - $4 extra

Pizza with loads of vegan options

Lots of options to make your own vegan pizza however you want. $5 for a can of beer too, pizzas around $13 very reasonable for what you get.

Only negative is that it's expensive to make your own.

Pros: Happy to alter pizzas, Tempeh, tofu, jackfruit pepperoni , Friendly happy staff

Cons: Build your own expensive , Shut at 8 on Thursday

Delicious vegan pizza!

Fresh, delicious, and filling pizza. It is very easy to eat there as a vegan if you choose the "build-your-own" pizza option - their crusts are vegan and they have vegan cheese, pesto sauce, mock meats, tofu, and a bunch of veggie toppings. The prices are very reasonable and service is quick and friendly.

Pros: Clearly labelled vegan options

Highly recommend their vegan capri pesto pizza

This is our go to place for a quick thin crust vegan wood fired oven pizza. Food is high quality and it’s made quickly. My favourite is their “Capri Pesto” for $13. The base is a pesto and red sauce blend. Toppings are roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts and kalamata olives. You can get it with daiya cheese, but my preference is to get it without the cheese and instead sub in oyster mushrooms and roasted garlic. I also like to ask for oregano, crushed chili flakes and fresh basil on top. So good!

Pros: Delicious vegan pizza options , High quality food made quickly, Draught beer & outdoor seating

Cons: Not fancy, Busy, Cafeteria style

Awesome

Fiazza is the perfect place to pick up a quick dinner, or sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful patio. Lots of veggie options on the specialty menu, as well as the opportunity to build your own. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was great.

Pros: Five vegetarian specialty pizza options , Great patio, Reasonably priced

Finally good vegan pizza

I love this place, and it’s a great place to go with non-veggie friends or family, there is something for everyone. I am obsessed with the garlic sauce!

Make your own pizza !

Love that you can make your own pizza, makes it very convenient when you have non-vegan or gluten-free friends. I didn't like the basil tofu, but everything else was amazing.

Pros: Flexibility and options, affordable, great location

Amazing make your own wood fire pizza!

If you’re in Ottawa try this!!!!! It’s like subway but pizza you pick your own sauce and toppings then they cook it in a massive wood fire oven and bring it to your table! I went with a bunch of meat eaters and it was perfect as we all got what we wanted!!

Amazing restaurant !!!!

Such great food, with lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Pizzas were amazing, and they were very careful and safe about keeping the vegan pizza safe and separate from other food products.

Excellente pizza

Pros: beaucoup d'options végane, , service rapide, terrasse

Cons: charge pour fromage végan

Best pizza in town

Those guys/gals are not playing around, they deliver top notch pizza for a reasonable price in record time. A+ all around, topings can get pricey so keep that in mind. They have vegan cheese, crust, and marinara so it's quite easy to convert one of their pizzas and make it vegan or chose your own topings.

Pros: Taste, Speed

Holy Artichokes Batman

Great ingredients make great food... 4/5 of the sauces are vegan, soy cheese works well and they don't skimp on the great ingredients.

If you use the website you might have trouble picking the vegan options but don't be deterred, ask for Gary (vegan cheese) in the comments section (or better call and ask the best way to order).

In restaurant the staff were knowledgeable and I felt safe that I wasn't getting an after thought pie.

Pros: Great sauces and good ingredients

Cons: only one option for vegan cheese

We went for a quick but tasty dinner and the serving/cook staff was very well informed on vegan options. Menu is lablekd with vegan (v ) and vegetarian (v) options. LOVE! Carries daiya cheese. The wood fired pizza are really top notch.

Pros: Menu items labeled veg and vegan; lots of toppings, close to Byward Market area

OK but overpriced

I was craving pizza (and a patio) today so I decided to check this place out. Buyer beware: unless you choose one of their menu pizzas (none of which are vegan), you are charged by the topping. It cost me $25 for a personal pizza with Daiya, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, red onion, roasted garlic, olives, roasted peppers and arugula. It would've cost around $11 if I'd chosen "the carnivore" pizza from the menu, by comparison.

Also - the person who made my pizza didn't seem to known the difference between vegan and gluten free. I told her that I would be ordering a vegan pizza and she asked if I wanted the gluten free crust (which I understand is not actually vegan!).

Pros: Build your own pizza, Quick, Friendly

Cons: Expensive if you get lots of toppings

vegan pizza

Fiazza is a great place in the market, perfect to go to if you're in a group where there's different dietary preferences/restrictions. I'm vegan and have gone with a group of about 10 people where someone was gluten free, there were 1 or 2 other vegetarians and some meat eaters and everyone was satisfied. There's a set price for the pizza base (crust & sauce) and then you choose your own toppings. They have Daiya available for an extra $2. Their oven cooks pizzas in about 90 seconds so everything moves along pretty quickly.

It's a really nice well-sized space, they also have outdoor seating when the weather permits. Later in the evening it can get pretty noisy from the bar patio next door, but that's not a big deal for me. They have wine and Kitchissipi beer on tap. They also have Harvey & Verns local sodas.

Pros: fast, something for everyone, good quality ingredients

Cons: can get noisy
