literally the best

Everything is run on a volunteer and trust basis and it is simply adorable. Everything is vegan and generally much cheaper than supermarkets which is always nice. All in all a lovely place that also has a bike shop round the back that is only open a couple of days a week but is also a lovely place to fix your bike and learn how to fix and prevent future breakages.

Pros: All vegan, all adorable!, cheap , local and cared for

Cons: literally nothing, It's perfect, please check it out

Good food you can trust at unbeatable price

I love FareShares. It is a not for profit project that stocks wonderful vegan food. Prices are unbeatable, so are the volunteers that run it. It is simple and honest. Bring your own bags for the items you will weight yourself, and be generous to donate to keep it going.

Pros: 100% vegan, incredible variety

Cons: Limited opening times

Very special place - well worth a visit.

Great selection of vegan items - including very fresh veggies.

Running since 1988 as a completely vegan grocery co-op.

A not for profit enterprise - very low prices.

All of the staff are volunteering.

Bring your own bags / containers.

This was how so many great vegan businesses & cafes started. Families buying together - then getting a shop somewhere in the backstreets.
