Great vegan dinner and good vibe

We came here on a Sunday night in February. Lively atmosphere and good vibe, nice staff and owner/chef. It’s really pretty too.
Having an intolerance to garlic and being vegan can be tricky. Not a problem here.
As a starter we had tofu with miso and ginger, mains were a miso broth ramen and a tofu donburi (rice bowl), both delicious and not too salty. For dessert we had a choice of 3 mochi (really liked the iced yuzu).
Solid option for vegans in Arles!

Great place!

This restaurant reconciled my partner and me (both vegan) with eating out in the Provence! This is definitely the place to go when you're vegan and in the Provence area. Plus Arles is a really pretty city, too. The restaurant is located just off the "Place du Forum", around the corner from "Cafe van Gogh".
They offer salads, sandwiches and sushi. There are at least two salads and sandwiches that are vegan and one type of maki sushi that is vegan, too. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and knew the what vegans eat (and what not).
The food is simple, but absolutely delicious and fresh.
We chose a menu consisting of salad, sandwich and a drink and had both a Pastis and my partner had a coffee. We ended up paying 30 euro.
They also offer sandwiches to take-away and there is a small seating area outside. Does not accept credit cards!

Salads & Sandwiches

Had a good and fresh salads. They also have sandwiches and sushis.
Many vegetarian options, however the bread served for the sandwich and served with the salads is not very good. A shame for a restaurant in France.

Pros: reasonably priced

Cons: the quality of the bread

Easy take-away sandwich.

Lots of veggie & vegan options on the big menu board outside. I had a take away baguette with veg & salad that was really good (garlic-rubbed bread and amazing dressing). Smiling staff. Easy to find.

Good options

It's nice to see a restaurant with vegan options in such a small city! I had le lapin sandwich which was filled with fresh veggies, basil, olive oil, all on a garlic rubbed baguette. Very tasty!

Pros: fresh, healthy, nice owners

Cons: none

Hidden gem!

A fantastic little restaurant with good options for vegans. The "menu japonais" has a great vegan salad, your choice of maki (Le Zen is the vegan option and has carrots, cucumber, and sesame seeds), and your choice of green tea or miso soup. In the summer, the green tea is iced (frais) but I assume in the winter it would be hot. They also have take-away, and their sandwiches are all made to order and use olive oil instead of butter. Looked like there were a couple of vegan options and several you could customize by asking them to leave off the cheese. If I could give the. 5 stars, I would!

Pros: Good vegan options, Several menu items easily customized to vegan, English speakers if you need them

Cons: No vegan dessert option (only ice creams and no so
