I have never had such friendly service in my life. Alex the owner and chef was very interested in knowing about us and telling us amusing stories.
We had brown rice with field peas, the barbecued ribs, curry chicken and steamed vegetables with fresh watermelon. We also had some refreshing fruit punch.
Everything was vegan, healthy and delicious. The total for all four of us was just over $40 which was amazing based on the huge serving sizes.
Food was served family style where he brought out big dishes and we all shared.
The restaurant is located in an older home full of southern charm. It is right off the I95 and a place we plan to stop at again on our next road trip.
