Excellent vegan options!

The menu changes periodically but they have a "meat" and a "veg" menu - everything is always delicious. Very reasonably priced, generous portions and super friendly customer service. Did I mention delicious food? Yes.

Good food

I went there a few times when I lived nearby. It had a couple of vegan options and I really enjoyed it. I remember most of the vegan options being quite spicy, however. I would recommend it if you are in the area with someone who wouldnt be willing to go to a vegan restaurant.

Yummy vegan options

Every day Easy Creole has 5 Omni options and 5 vegan options. You can get a plate of 1 option for $13 or a 1/2 1/2 plate with two options for $14. Their Instagram @easycreole has a pic of that day's menu.

So far I've only tried the tequila caliente and the tofu ropa. The tequila caliente was really good, I'll definitely get that one again. The tofu ropa was ok but I would have liked it to be more tofu instead of being heavy on the olive and tomato flavors. The vegan coleslaw was really good too, highly recommend!

I'll definitely be going back to try more dishes.

Pros: Half the options are vegan, Yummy food, Big portion

Feels like a friends’ grandma’s cooking

Love that this place has a separate menu for vegans which is not limited to 2 items. We had the chili and gumbo as half and half and both had a bang of flavor but felt home cooked in a good way. We also had the rice pudding which was nice as well. Would go here again.

Comfort food!

Simple tasty comforting stews great for takeout. Get a half and half plate to try two things. The tofu ropa is packed with olives and tomatoes and tasty!

Pros: Half the menu is vegan

Cons: Nah

Caters to vegans

Menu of the day is posted on their website and apparently always has 4-6 expressly vegan entrees. No need to ask them to veganize a dish because it’s already done. Loved the half and half option that allows you to get two half portions of different entrees. This cuisine is heavy but worth every one of the extra calories!

Love it!

I go there often. Food is creole with zany twists. Menu is half vegan, so lots of options, and it changes every day. Only place I’ve ever seen a vegan etouffee!

Really great food and super friendly staff

I wish I'd known about this place earlier! Half of their menu is vegan and half is meat. I tried the spinach & mushroom etouffee and the tequila caliente. Both were absolutely delicious, filling without making you feel too full. They also had a ridiculous selection of hot sauce. I would definitely recommend this place.

Pros: Plenty of vegan options, Tons of different hot sauces, Cool decor

Cons: Limited parking

Hidden Gem

Really good food. I would have come here sooner if I had known it existed. They have a daily vegan menu and a daily meat-dish menu. If you like spicy homemade takes on creole food, this is the place for you. Great price, too.

Pros: great flavored foods, friendly/helpful staff, free tastes of dishes to help you decide

Cons: discrete entrance, could use vegan meats in meat dishes, did not have vegan sour-cream or vegan cheese
