Not a restaurant but a once-a-week people's kitchen upstairs at the youth house (Ungdomshuset). Serves 80% organic vegan food. Meals vary, and sells items such as TVP and sometimes vegan meats - you have to ask for it. Ungdomshuset also hosts various concerts and events (see website). At some of the larger events vegan food will be sold. A small book-cafe, also open on Thursday, offers coffee by donation. The meals here are very creative, the volunteers organise motsly organic meals which are all vegan.
A "folkets køkken or people kitchen" are cheap ways to eat food in denmark and they are usually vegan, if not vegetarian.

Serve is served at approx. 7pm on thursdays, people need to line up and get given a serving.
For 20 kr it is a very nice meal.

Pros: all vegan, motsly organic
Cons: only once a week

It's one of numerous folk kitchens in Copenhagen - a very alternative punk place. Do not expect fake smiles here. The place is not very clean (+ it's very alternative, with graffiti on walls) but the kitchen is (it is very well equipped + they have the best evaluation of Danish hygiene authorities, so no worries here).

They serve dinner on Thursday evenings, you get a plate of vegan food for just 20DKK donation (this is a real bargain in Copenhagen) + they usually have coffee, tea and vegan rolls and croissants, you do not have to pay extra for that.
Their brunches are very good, and so are their cake orgies.

They usually close on Christmas season and other occasions and forget to update their website. ;)

But, all in all, this place is definitely worth visiting, esp. if you are into alternative stuff.

Pros: Nice food, All vegan!, Very clean kitchen
Cons: Can get really crowded, A bit far from the center, The seating area is a bit dirty

just a comment about the seating area being dirty, it is an alternative Space but people are ´cleaning this area before serving on thursdays so it is not covered in dirt or unhygenic
