Tasty and expensive

The cakes are crazy and very interesting. But together with a drink they cost 22zl already. (4,50 €)

Nice Cakes! But hard to find

4 Posted on 08 / 10 / 2014

Dolce and Vegan was a pleasant place to visit, once we could find it! Be sure to look around the back of the building (on the opposite side of the main street), and you'll find it tucked away in a corner. If you find it, it's worth it! The cakes were quite nice; my parents and I tried a chocolate cake, a pound cake with vegan cream cheese and blueberries, and a nectarine tart. All were delicious :) The only downside was that there is only outdoor seating, which means you'll get a dose of second-hand smoke if there are smokers around. Overall, worth it!

Pros: great cakes, large selection
Cons: hard to find, outdoor location = second-hand smoke

Hidden dessert haven

Dolce and Vegan sell more than cakes, but that's their main product. I have tried some of the cakes/cupcakes and they were tasty and varied.
They have a different daily menu, with the option of being served with bubbles, which is quite funny.
They have sweet and savoury pies. Sometimes they have a special weekend buffet brunch or all-day pizza. The pizzas, although tasty, had a very tick though making the pizza very heavy - but I guess they can improve this.
The staff are nice but a bit unprofessional so they could improve that as well.

Nice new place

Dolce and Vegan is a nice, simple and relaxed little cafe, serving some soups, quiches, cakes and freshly mixed smoothies. I had a quiche, a smoothie and a cake, and everything tasted delicious.

The cafe has just recently opened and is in an exposed, open location. They probably gonna move to an indoor place in winter.

One could notice that the location was new, some professionalism was missing. However, the staff was very friendly and made one feel welcome. I would return to this place, if visiting again Warsaw.

Pros: Nice food, Inexpensive, Relaxed
Cons: Open location
