The place is located on the underground level of a department store.
Everything is vegetarian. There are two daily changing dishes that are either vegan or can be made so.
We had the two main options: a mixed salad with vegan cheese, and a tofu goulash with mashed potatoes.
The goulash was okay although I wouldn't have used tofu but something tastier/more suited for such a dish (seitan?). But it was still good.
The salad on the other hand was very bland although the produce was fresh, the "vinaigrette" sauce appeared to contain mostly water and very little oil or vinegar. The cheese was store-bought vegan cheese (probably Wilmersburger). The bread however was good.
We tried three vegan desserts: a chia pudding with strawberry sauce which was okay (but a bit bland), a plum cake which was very typical of German bakery (extremely sweet and heavy - I didn't like it at all but it might please German baked good enthusiasts), and some mediocre chocolate pudding.
Sadly most of the food was mediocre to okay at best. Maybe this was a bad day?
