Chef Matt never fails to amaze. He also runs the Tuesday pop-up Stay Fresh, but Day One is a co-venture with Ari Berenbaum (of Berenbaum Bakery). The menu changes weekly (or sometimes every 2 weeks) and is always very creative and tasty. Baker Andy usually has a delicious dessert too - pies, mousse, etc.
My favorite menu so far was the "southern picnic" theme with "chicken-fried" tofu, biscuits, baked beans, cole slaw, watermelon salad and deviled "eggs" (inside a hollowed out small potato shell). I have no idea how he made those deviled eggs, but they tasted delicious!
