Almost all of the breads at Daddy's Breads are 100% vegan! The ingredients are printed right on the label. My personal favorite is the blueberry-apple bread. The only non-vegan one I can think of is the PDG: parmesan-dill-garlic. Daddy's Bread is a great place to stop on your visit to the beaches along Route 1 in Charlestown and Westerly. It's also very close to Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, Ninigret Wildlife Refuge, and Burlingame State Park. Here is a blurb taken from their MySpace site: "Daddy's Bread was established in 1975. We are located on Moonstone Beach Road in Matunuck, Rhode Island. Known for great hand made breads in many varieties such as Cinnamon Raisin, Apple Cinnamon, Watercress Herb (Grown right here!), Anadama, P.D.G. (Parm, Dill,& Garlic), Jonnycake, Peasant, Onion Chive and many many more. All breads are made free of added preservatives, dairy, and egg products. Daddy's operates on the HONOR SYSTEM, We're self serve! Although there have been some changes (& more to come) at Daddy's, all in all, it is pretty much the same as it has been since opening over 30 years ago. If you visit Southern RI, stop by Daddy's. It's sure to be something you have never seen before! Don't forget to sign our guestbook! NOW MAKING GOURMET ALL NATURAL HORSE TREATS!" I've uploaded some photos from their site, as well, so that you can see how quaint the bakery is. Highly recommended!
