We have visited Craggan Mill on a number of occasions over several years. The owner - originally from Yorkshire, but photographed in full Highland regalia - and his wife and staff go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The food, always fresh, with a strong local flavour, is first class, and beautifully presented. Lunches are particularly good value. Though not a vegetrian restaurant, veggies are catered for, and were particularly pleased by their willingness to accommodate vegan guests. Situated just off the main Grantown - Aviemore road, but with outstanding views, this can be reached by foot from Grantown, and by public transport, but car is easiest. Probably best to book ahead, as it can get busy. We always look forward to our visits to the Mill.
