Not a farmer’s market

Mostly food trucks, craft vendors, home goods, and live music. Very few local food producers (like 3, any time I attend). Fun for kids, but not the place to go for produce.

Should be called a street fair instead of a farmer’s market-not enough produce or fresh-from-the-farm food options.

Pros: Kid friendly activities , Live music

Cons: Very few farmers/food producers, More focused on arts/crafts than farm foods

Valpo Farmer's Market

HOT PRETZEL ALERT. The Farmer's Market has a new vendor: Ben's Soft Pretzels. I cannot describe how amazing these pretzels are. Aunt Annie's pretzels pale in comparison. This is hands down the best soft pretzel you will ever have in your life. And it's served hot out of the on-site ovens. I'm not kidding when I say you should go out of your way and come to the Farmer's Market just for this pretzel.

Back to the review, they block off the street to the side of Central Park Plaza for the vendors to set up their booths. You can count on fresh produce, flowers, local honey and usually handmade soaps, there is a vendor that has different kinds of olive oil, and things like that. Easy street parking.
