Vegetarian
This vegetarian cafe is part of Hotel Kadampa which is a Buddhist-run enterprise. The cafe itself was renovated in April 2010 and offers ready meals such as veggie burger, pretend fish fingers, fake chicken scallops all with fries and salad, as well as a hot dish of the day and also tapas, gazpacho, salads, vegetarian sandwiches, pizzas and a variety of chilled desserts. There are also cold drinks and a wide selection of teas and coffees. The adjacent Templo de la Paz temple has very special energy and is a beautiful spot for meditation. As the centre hosts many Buddhist courses, festivals and events, it is strongly suggested to ring prior to visiting in order to check whether the cafe is open to the public on the day you intend to visit. Access via car is on the A404 (the road between Alhaurin de la Torre and Alhaurin el Grande). Coming from Malaga direction, just past Lauro Golf at KM 12 there is a bus stop (where the Malaga/Alhaurin El Grande bus stops). The lane on the right is Fuente del Perro. When the road curves off to the left the hotel is through blue gateposts on the right. APR 2015 REPORTED NO LONGER OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
