Great location for this veg friendly restaurant. The home made multigrain bread is particularly nice and is a pleasant change from breads that are usually produced in Thailand. The size of the meals was good and the food was tasty enough without the overuse of chilli - also the menu is varied and has some different things on offer, namely feta cheese. I will eat here again when in Bangkok.Pros: Great location, Non spicy food, Cold beer
this is not vegetarian restaurant! see the menu that has sea food and meat sausages!it shouldn't be tag as vegetarian
food its so so, i ate there 3 times, the vegs was overcooked, some dishes was very poor with cheap vegs such alot of onions and cabbage!, some dish as tom yam was nice, and one salad i had was nice too
location is nice thought
Cons: not 100% vegetarian, over cooked veggies, some dish are poor in quality
The food was great. There was a wide variety and many unique items on the menu. I have eaten there twice and both times the staff was friendly and everything seemed cleaned. The coconut tamarind shake is superb. The freshly baked baguette was whole grain and delicious. They have brown rice and emphasize organic ingredients. Highly recommend checking it out.
Been there a few times. The food was quite good.
However: staff is SLOOOOOOOOOW and unfriendly. The European guy is faster, but not exactly friendly.
Last time I went, I saw the cook coughing all over the food while preparing it!!! Disgusting!!!!
I enjoyed a meal here several times and liked them all. If you like it spicy (like me) opt for local curries - the "others" didn't have that much taste. The menu is rich: baguettes, thai foods, breakfast, alcoholic and non drinks.
Lovely quiet street so that you can't believe it's only 5 minutes away from Khao-san's. We spotted many cockroaches since it has on outdoor terrace by the street but just keep your feet up.
Good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere.... but u shoudn't be in a hurry to eat when u go there....
