Really good food and personal service - Edit
We had a fantastic meal with a wonderful view overlooking the loch. The cafe was very busy which is testament to how good it is. The food is, from what I can tell, homemade and is really delicious. The waiting staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place as a good mix for vegans and non-vegans alike.

Food was great, staff were even better! - Edit
I had a vegan breakfast & my partner had the vegan burger. Both lovely food. But the lady that served us was funny & wonderful and made the experience extra nice. She was a big dog lover too & our dog was treated like a prince!

Amazing hot chocolate - Edit
The atmosphere is really cozy and we can not recommend the hot chocolate enough - it was so good!
Read moreWe also had the Jackfruit chickpea burgers, which tasted not very special but very natural and like everything was made at home. The vegan coleslaw was a nice addition.
They even let us charge our phones there.
Pros: Cozy atmosphere, Good location and nice view, The hot chocolate

Tasty - Edit
Had the burger and chips. As stated they make it vegan by changing the bun. The mayo they use is vegan now. Quirky cafe, great views friendly staff and really tasty food.

Very nice spot, few vegan options - Edit
I really liked the spot, the people were very nice and the ambience is lovely. However, we had to wait some time to get a table (approx. 20min.) but the food was brought fast. There are few vegan options, we only noticed two: a tasty couscous salad and a vegan burger, that was rather special (a vegetable pattie, a slice of tomato and lettuce and some vegan butter).

Decent selection - Edit
Stopped by here on our first day on Skye for a quick bite. They had a better than modest selection, including an all-day breakfast option that can be vegan without the eggs and two vegan dessert options. The sweet potato and bean veggie burger Patty was adequate, but you need to request it with no mayo and on a different bun (I opted for a bagel. Overall the place and the food Reminded me of the veggie menus of yesteryear. Not bad by a long shot, but know that there are better options out there. Still, likely one of the best choices you’ll have as a vegan in Portree.

Best vegan breakfast I’ve had in 2 years of being vegan. (Have to order veggie and swap egg for hash brown) lovely staff and atmosphere would give 5 star if I could.

Busy spot with a great view - Edit
The interior is cosy and gives off a warm feeling, which is great for rainy days.
Read moreUnfortunately this countered by how busy it can get here. There is lots of staff buzzing about and waiting guests that are standing in the entrance don't help either ;)
We enjoyed a good coffee as well as a very very VERY sugary cake.

Funky, colorful cafe w/friendly staff and some vegan options - Edit
Stopped here for lunch and had to wait because it was so busy. There were a few vegan options on the menu and we were glad to hear they had vegan cheese. Ordered the ultimate nachos and the veggie burger, veganized. Both were good. Might return if in the area again, but nothing else vegan on the menu except the samosas. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Fun café - Edit
Went for breakfast and was able to make the little veggie breakfast vegan. It was pretty yummy. The atmosphere of the café was lots of fun and the staff was very nice. They had good drink options and a lovely vegan hot chocolate which is hard to find in my country so I really enjoyed it!

Best veggie place on Skye - Edit
We had to wait 10 minutes, but it was worth it for the fantastic french toast sandwich with mushroom and walnut loaf, roast tomatoes and salad. I thought it might be overpriced for a sandwich before it arrived. However, it was a whole meal and I would have paid more! Got a great seat by the window and would highly recommend to anyone seeking great veggie/vegan food.q

Your not going to find a fully Vegan place at the Isle of Skye but these guys will certainly help how they can. Super friendly staff, great atmosphere and they made the best Vegan Big Breakie I've ever had.

Decent breakfast - Edit
We both had a soya latte and the vegan version of the “Big Breakfast”.
Read moreThe latte was well made with good coffee. The breakfast was advertised as coming with veggie sausages and a tattie scone however these were missing, so the meal was a little simplistic with just toast, beans, tomatoes and mushrooms with veggie haggis. However we were grateful to have a decent hot breakfast option. Overall they seemed to be knowledgeable about catering to vegans and keen to provide something for us.

Limited options but good - Edit
The menu changes often and nothing was marked vegan but the waitress checked with the kitchen and a burrito and burger could be done vegan. The burrito was nice and the burger was really good. It’s a nice place to sit with good views but there can be a queue at lunch time

Lovely cafe and friendly stuff - Edit
We arrived here not knowing whether there will be vegan options (my partner isn’t vegan).
Read moreThe place was clean and the stuff really polite. The offered me beans on toast with vegan butter which was really tasty.
There might not always be vegan options but the stuff is more than happy to help. They knew exactly what ingredients were and weren’t vegan.
I would highly recommend this place to vegetarians/ vegans that are happy with something simple.
I’d love to leave 5* if happy cow allowed.
Thanks

**Daily changing menu** - Edit
•they only use *vegan* mayonnaise here, so coleslaw that comes with dishes is vegan friendly.
Read moreChefs + Staff are fully aware and accomodating of what vegan is (2 or more of their staff are vegan themselves)
•there are ALWAYS at least 4 veggie options
°Always a veggie burger which 99% of the time is vegan friendly.
°always 2 soups, at least one if not both will be veggie and usually vegan
°two lunch meals are Always veggie. At least one will be good for vegan, usually both can be made vegan.
•they don't label things on the menu (for allergy reasons) so make sure to ASK! Staff can let you know what's good.
((Veggie sausages on breakfast are Quorn... not vegan. They only serve square meat sausages, no link, so if it's sausage shaped it's definitely veggie))
•only have soy milk, but if you bring y.o. oatlybarrista, they'll use it
Pros: Usually multiple vegan options, ALWAYS at least 4 veggie options

Just fine - Edit
The menu doesn't disclose if any plate is vegetarian or vegan so I had to guess the ingredients. The soup of the day was courgette with tarragon, super tasty!! I was advised that was 100% vegan but I'm not sure as I asked if other plates could be veganised and I still got colslaw as a side (not vegan). I ordered veggie fajitas without cheese and sour cream but was a bit dissapointed as there wasn't any tortilla or wrap, simply a jackfruit stew with tomatoes and peppers. I think they did put extra slices of peppers on the side to compensate for the cheese/sour cream. If you are desesperate for food I would go, otherwise not the best place.

Cons: Lack of knowledge about veganism, Not real vegan options, only vegetarian dishes that can be "veganised"
