Brew-yum-yum

Just ate lunch here with the family. The consensus was we Loved it! Tried 4 different meals: Brew-ha-ha Salad with tofu (no cheese or croutons), Portobello spinach wrap, Eggplant panini, and the Lunch bagel. All the food was delicious & fresh. We finished our meal with a Soy Chai Smoothie, so good!
The diner itself is fairly small, but cozy and cute. We sat at the bar by the window to people-watch. They also serve breakfast all day with some vegan options.
If we ever get back here again, it will be a definite repeater!

Great place for a light meal when at MassMoCA

4 Posted on 05 / 28 / 2010

While in North Adams, Brewhaha is a nice little spot for a cup of coffee (or a cold drink) and a light lunch. They have a couple of vegan wraps: (1) avocado, tomato, red onion, chopped green leaf, alfalfa sprouts, soy cheese, and chili soy mayo for $8.50; (2) sherry glazed portobello mushrooms, baby spinach, grilled onions, and Dijon soy mayo for $8.50. They also serve vegan salads, soups, garden burgers, boca burgers, and hummus-filled pitas. Brewhaha is an easy walk from MassMoCA and is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Did I mention that they have vegan cookies and pan-fried tofu breakfast sandwiches, too?

Pros: nice vegan options, very accessible, cute place

Great Options

There are at least two sandwiches made specifically for vegans under the menu title "Vegans Against the World." There are also many sandwiches that are vegetarian and lots of salads that can be made to be vegan as well. They have a great selection of beverages ranging from all teas to all natural sodas and you can purchase from a selection of vegan cookies.

Pros: Vegan Sandwiches, Vegan Cookies, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Can be a long wait for food, A little expensive

Wonderful!

I had lunch at this restaurant while travelling through North Adams and everything was delicious! In addition to a number of vegetarian and vegan options, you can add tofu to any item ($0.50) or substitute the meat in any dish for meat-free sausage at no extra charge. I enthusiastically reccomend Cafe Brewhaha!

Pros: Excellent food, Friendly atmosphere, Flexible menu
Cons: Not 100% vegetarian
