Excellent

I was surprised to find this explosion of flavors in Sacramento!! The salad with the spicy peanut sauce was so good. I was tempted just to drink the rest of the sauce. The dish that has eggplant, peppers, & curry was so outstanding. It had crazy good tofu in it. I would give this place a 3 out of 3 definitely. The attention to detail in every dish is very impressive. I love this place. The staff was prompt. The food wait was not long. The ambience is just fine. Great chef.

Pros: Excellent food, any dish vegetarian, great flavors

High noon at the Boon Boon cafe

If your looking for a quiet peaceful place to eat in Sacramento, then the Boon Boon cafe may be right for you. Despite its location behind the subway sandwich shop on the corner of stocton and broadway, this quaint little resturant is extremely clean and well dressed. Inside, you will find yourself charmed by the romantic decorum and soothing music played overhead.

As it is written in Happy cows guide, this humble little eatery is very vegfriendly. From what I can tell, everything on the menu can be mabe vegetarian if you ask for it. There are many fine and exotic dishes to choose from including: paprika french fries, green paste eggplant, and the spicy drunken noodle. Their dessert menu was rather impressive aswell, including such treats as: fried banana with rum sauce, and mango sweat sticky rice.

The menu also comes with a diet corner and energy guide. This makes for something nice to read while your waiting for your food, and its proves quite informative as well. If you choose to dine at the Boon Boon cafe, i recommend you try the spicy nooble soup (vegetarian of course). I would go with the long noodle too; it makes for a more exciting expeience.

Pros: relaxing, take out option, alot of nice teas to choose from
Cons: bad parking, a little hard to find at first
