A tasty solution to pleasing hungry vegan beer snobs, er, enthusiasts. It's a comfortable place to be a singleton at the counter, hang on the sidewalk or back patio with your favorite pooch, meet up with pals at the back room picnic tables or impress (or horrify) your date and passer-bys with one of those giant glass boots in the main room. The ceilings are high which makes this feel like a small warehouse brewing place, rather than the cosy neighborhood pub spot. As with most beer spots, this is more of a guys hangout than a ladies night out venue. Very good hot sandwich cart. The Italian Market eggplant sandwich is satisfying and the sandwich rolls made specially by Alessio Baking Co. are a real treat. It is nice to have something besides the ubiquitous hummus plate or french fries as the vegan option in a beer hall. There is additional bike parking across the street.
Cons: Can get busy
