delicious (number of) spot(s)

I think there's a bit of confusion about these... the one I went to was through exit 1 at Ari Station, then past the BMW dealership through a small street on the right hand side that led to a little area with several shops. When I arrived on a Tuesday around 6, there were two stalls open, one selling delicious tofu and mockmeat curry and selling seaweed and other snacks, and another nearby with the sign "Vegetarians" about it - that one was pretty much dry by the time I got there. It didn't resemble the pic here, which may be because I just didn't see the main space.

Anyhow, it was delicious, that special homegrown Thai veg style you can also find in Arawy (Aroi), but this one's a bit more convenient with the Skytrain. Definitely worth seeking out, I'll be back to figure out exactly what's what!

Thai people Thai veg restaurant

This place is associated with the famous Thai idealist, advocate and retired politician Chamlong Srimuang, who, probably has done more than any other individual to bring veg*nism to the Thai masses. He is a supporter of Santi Asok - a charitable organisation that owns restaurants of similar genre.

The place consists of a car park, retail health food and natural medicine shop, wooden
air conditioned dining building and a large covered open air dining area.

Food is purchases by coupon from a variety of individual vendors. Serve your self buffet style and clean up after your self when finished. There are no serving staff.

Food is authentic Thai vegetarian of broad range due to the diverse specialty of the various independent for profit vendors.

The rent is in some way subsidised through the influence of Chamlong Srimuang which keeps the prices of this quality food at a most pleasantly low level.

One of my favourites here is the raw vegan salad made from 30 different plants. It has become so popular that many non-veg outlets around Bangkok resell it

Pros: cheap, cheap, extensive range
