Delicious vegan food on a non-vegan island

5 Posted on 09 / 21 / 2013

We were thrilled to find out that there was a vegan restaurant on Koh Tao.

Avalon Vegan Kitchen is located in a Thai style wooden house on a hill and it is easy to find.
The view is calm and relaxing.

They have a small menu (easier to decide what the order)

We both ordered the Smokey tofu Cous Cous wrap and it was delicious. We also ordered the chocolate coconut fudge cake that was made fresh as soon as we ordered it. It was so chocolatey and rich. Sometimes you just want chocolate!

The prices are higher than the restaurants around the island but you get what you pay for and you are what you eat!

Definitely worth a visit and we'll be back in February!!
