Vegan Food Wonderland - Edit
Allie's: Where veggies go from "meh" to "OMG!"
Read moreSo, my wife and I stumbled upon this vegan paradise in Spokane - turns out, moving to the area was basically a culinary upgrade!
Food: Allie's menu is like a vegan carnival for your taste buds! Say goodbye to yawn-inducing salads and "dull-fu". We're talking about pizzas that moonlight as works of art, appetizers so special they could write their own memoirs, and desserts that can make you forget dairy ever existed. The wild mushroom pizza? It's like a party in your mouth where everyone's invited. And the orange chicken? If I close my eyes, I'm practically in pretend omnivore heaven - and that cheesecake? So luscious it's got me questioning if it's secretly whipped up by wizards.
Service: These folks at Allie's aren't just vegan-food aficionados; they're also champions in the friendliness department. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if they moonlight as happiness experts. They treat us like vegan VIPs every time we visit, and the wait? Well, it's like they're cooking up a masterpiece with every order. Not quite fast food, but hey, Picasso didn't rush his art either. Plus, the bonus cookies and cake? It's like they're trying to sweeten our lives as much as their treats!
Bottom line: Allie's is like the vegan roller coaster of Spokane - and I'm willing to road trip from Sandpoint just for a slice of that plant-based wonderland.
Pros: Best Vegan Pizza Options, Great Cheesecake, Orange "Chicken"
Cons: Poor aesthetics inside

Pizza is still great, but the rest is not as good as it once was. - Edit
I absolutely love this place and it really pains me to give Allie's anything other than 5 stars, but over the last year or so me, my wife, and a few of our friends have all noticed a drop in quality of the food. I've been eating here regularly since 2017, and it's just not the same anymore. To be clear, the pizza is still fantastic, so if you're looking for vegan pizza, you can't go wrong.
Read moreHowever, the other menu items and breakfast items are simply not as good, and the specials and new additions are angling more and more toward junk food (for example, "dad bod" fries). The weekly specials and monthly breakfasts used to be my favorite part of Allie's, but increasingly they use store-bought protein, bread, and cheese, smaller portions and higher prices. I get that Not every special can be a home-run, and that inflation sucks, but when I look at the Instagram post for the special, more often than not I go "eh" these days. Not to be that guy, but often times it's something that my wife and I could just make ourselves, and for less money.
I wish there was a way to say to a restaurant "hey, you used to be better than this" without coming off as a stuck-up, entitled customer, but that's what me and a couple people I know are feeling. I still eat here, but less often, and mostly just the pizza.

The BEST! - Edit
Allie's deserves an award, for sure! Not only for great food but the best service we have ever had. We ordered a Falafel Bowl (which was sooooo good) and a pizza but made GF. They had messed up the pizza and put the gluten pepperoni on it. My husband can have some gluten so we said it was no biggie, I just couldn't try it. They told us they already have a new correct one in the oven for us, gave us the messed up one free and took 10% off our bill. Like, nobody treats you this good! So, we had pizza for a couple days and a great experience. And like I said, the food was super delicious, too!

A Spokane favorite - Edit
Visited on a Sunday night and they were busy with phone orders and in house dining. We ordered the veggie pizza and 1/2 Greek salad. The order took longer than the time we were given; which was fine, and then they gave us a full salad for the wait. We were really happy with the flavors of the pizza and it was what we were craving. Perfect size for two to share. The Greek salad was a nice balance of ingredients and the dressing was good.

Delicious - Edit
We’ve been stopping here when passing through or visiting Spokane for years. The menu is smaller than it used to be, but still delicious. Thai Peanut pizza is a favorite, but be sure to get extra peanut sauce to dip. In a Pickle is also amazing. We’ve tried most of the menu, you really can’t go wrong.

Their food is clearly made with love. We got the falafel bowl and veggie pizza and both were fresh, super scrumptious and filling. Staff was very friendly and prices are very reasonable!

Under new ownship, Tonya and her Husband Ty are really changing the way in which to enjoy this natural combination of foods. I really enjoyed their wild mushroom pizza! They are looking forward to upgrading their menu and decor and I am thankful to be led to this location. Spokane is blessed!

Menu change - Edit
The decor, configuration and menu have changed recently. All for the better except the menu. The new menu is much smaller and consists of only pizza with a few bowls on the appetizer list. No more sandwiches or anything. It’s okay good. Mostly fried so I’m sure kids would have no problem. I’ll stick with Rut from now on though.

Don't Miss Allie's - whether you are vegan or not! - Edit
Allie's is a wonderful place - we were only passing through town and found them on Happy Cow and both my husband and I are vegan and took a shot at finding a place. This was THE JACKPOT!
Read moreThe staff is warm and welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is filled with paintings of rescued farmed animals from a nearby sanctuary - each accompanied by their story - so that while we were waiting for our pizza and salad, we got to be surrounded by faces and stories that reminded us of what a happy thing it is to be a vegan.
And then the food was a KNOCKOUT - such good pizza. We had the veggie and it was delicious and cheesy and the leftovers made great breakfast out of our hotel room fridge the next morning.
Don't miss Allie's!

What a wonderful find on our trip! The food was delicious and I love that it’s all vegan. I had the cheesy bread sticks, cheese pizza, Mac and cheese and cookies! Probably some of the best Mac and cheese I’ve had. The cookies were so soft and delicious, definitely worth a trip!

Don't Miss Out at Allie's in Spokane!! - Edit
I arrived early on a Sunday afternoon. I was greeted by an employee and Allie who welcomed me in to look at the menu while they were opening. Customer service is phenomenal! Allie took the time to chat with me and made me feel at home. Food was everything I read about. Can't recall how many times I closed my eyes and thought, "Man, this hits the spot!" Will definitely come back for more!!

Not the cheapest pizza you'll ever eat, but worth it. Never disappoints. Their vegan cheese is great! I usually get take out, but it's also a cute place to sit and eat. Has a small outdoor seating area as well.

The Best Vegan Food Ever!! - Edit
We ordered the Loaded Baked Potato Flatbread Pizza, gluten free as well as regular, and Caesar Salad. The pizza is very similar to Boston Pizza perogie pizza, which is not vegan in any way. The pizza was absolutely amazing!!!!!! And so was the Caesar salad!! Our new favorite pizza of all time!!!! The food was just absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant as the best vegan food in Spokane!!
